The Heart of the Bionic Man

Except for the basement, the structure of this house was relatively simple.

After entering the door, there was a living room connected to the kitchen, a narrow corridor ahead, a small room on the right, and a spiral staircase to the second floor on the left.

The door that led to the second floor was closed.

I assumed this was the house Brian inherited from his parents rather than buying on his own.

The chaotic decor style revealed a sense of simplicity. The various pieces of furniture did not have a consistent style. The owner of the house appeared to require a movable stool one day and purchased a cheap and practical one.

Brian said he was a designer. I indeed found a lot of cloth, beads, and other materials in the room next to the stairs, which was most likely his workshop.

In my opinion, people who created art wouldn't be easily replaced by machines. I was a complete stranger to him. Although he was kind enough to take me in, I still felt uneasy in my heart.
