The Former Residence

Author:Han Zhi Le

Half an hour ago, when we were visiting a former residence of a celebrity, a fierce man chased after us with an axe in his hand.

At this moment, a girl and I were hiding in a room, while the fierce man was standing in the corridor.

I could even hear his gasp.

I bent over and looked out through the crack beneath the door.

He was wearing... my friend's shoes!

But my friend disappeared in this strange former residence more than ten minutes ago.

Underneath my feet was the old wood floor, which creaked with each step.

There were rooms on both sides, which were similar to the design of a hotel. The walls were inlaid with some unknown art frames.

About one-fifth or one-sixth of rooms were allowed to visit.

There were display cases in the rooms, all of which were used to place things used by the owner of this former residence.

There was no window in the corridor, and the lights above were dim.

The air was cold and filled with a smell of musty dust.
