A Fight Between Three Sides

William covered his face, and his walkie-talkie fell to the floor.

He was in so much pain that he gritted his teeth and groaned. "Oh... Looks like you two are accomplices."

Alfred quickly rushed to kick the walkie-talkie away. William kicked Alfred right in the abdomen. Alfred took two steps back in pain and lunged at William with his knife.

William immediately raised his left hand and clenched his right fist.

I was taken aback.

It was something I had taught William. In an emergency, we could risk engaging the enemy with our left hand. That way, even if we were disabled, we could live more easily with our right hand.

Even though William was ready to sacrifice his left hand, I wouldn't let him be cut by the knife!

I quickly threw a piece of cod at Alfred's temple. His body tilted to one side and hit a box.

William glanced at me in surprise. "You're not a team?"

I seized the moment and pounced on Alfred, hoping to get his weapon.
