"Finally it's the weekend." Nurse Nancy Williams said after her shift was over. She could almost daydream about going to the beach to suntan and enjoy all the attention.
She was a curvy and busty fair skinned young woman in her mid-twenties. She was a learning nurse in St. Nicholas Hospital in Lagos state. She lost her parents in a plane crash five years ago. Due to her parents amassing enough wealth and she being the only child, all the property and businesses owned by her parents were being willed directly to her.
After about six months of mourning her parents, she started her lifelong dream of becoming a doctor. But due to her wanting to get enough experience in the field, she first wanted to be a learning nurse.
The next day happened to be her day off on the weekend and she decided to get a suntan on the beach and relax. Being a nurse in-training is a whole lot of work especially in an extremely busy hospital like St. Nicholas, so the relaxation at the beach was well deserved.
On getting to the beach in her Lexus saloon car, she completely stole the show with her beauty and extreme curves. Everybody's eyes were following her as she went towards the water and sat on one of the empty beach chairs there.
"Damn. Bro look at those killer curves, man." A man complemented.
"I swear, bro. She has a body to die for. Wish Anita was as curvy as that." Another man complemented, comparing her to his girlfriend.
"I wonder. How can one person capture the hearts of almost all the men here when there are over two hundred women here on the beach?" One lady wondered aloud while staring around at the men who were staring hungrily at the curvy lady.
Nancy was probably used to this kind of attention and moved gracefully. She wore a two piece bikini and tied a scarf on her waist. Her bikini bra was barely holding on to the big mounds of flesh on her chest and as she moved, they juggled.
She sat down and let the sunlight bathe her fair skin for about an hour before grabbing a magazine to read.
While in the middle of turning her seventh page in the fashion magazine, her eyes caught something in the water. She took off her glasses and looked closely at the water. She saw a boy in a black shirt and pants washed ashore. She firstly thought he was swimming and kept observing him. Then she observed something scary.
He wasn't moving. Not even his chest.
"Oh no!" She said silently and rushed towards the boy and pulled him from the water. It was at that moment people noticed that there was someone who was washed ashore and unconscious.
Worried, Nancy observed him closely. He looked really handsome at his young age. He was about six years old and had long blonde hair. He looked like an American. She saw a little cut at on his head from which he was bleeding. Apparently, he hit his head on a rock while he was unconscious.
Nancy then knelt and put her ears to his chest trying to find a heartbeat. The men who were unbothered about the whole unfolding drama were drooling at Nancy's behind.
Nancy then detected a faint heartbeat. She first gave him CPR then proceeded to pump the boy's chest a few times. About pumping his chest six times, he coughed and vomited some water, which he must have ingested when he was drifting unconsciously.
Nancy wasted no time as she hurriedly took the boy and her belongings in her arms and left the beach. At that time, the people at the beach who witnessed the incident of how Nancy saved that little boy's life, even the perverted men, viewed Nancy with respect. One person who recorded the whole incident posted it on Facebook and tagged it "Beauty with brains." That video caught hundreds of thousands of views and thousands of positive comments in 24 hours.
At St. Nicholas Hospital. Nancy who took the time to put on a gown to cover the bikini, called one of her colleagues who came and attended to the boy while she got properly dressed. The boy was given proper medical care and attention.
While the boy was unconscious, Nancy's friend and colleague, Brenda, who she phoned, called her aside.
"Nancy, who's he? He doesn't look like someone from around here." Brenda asked.
"I don't really know, Brenda. I was at the beach enjoying my tan when I saw him washed ashore and helped him. I don't even know anything about him at all myself." Nancy replied.
"So, if you don't know who he is, and none of the couples at the beach claimed him, who's then gonna pay the bill?" Brenda asked again. This time a look of worry plastered on her face.
"Listen, Brenda. First off, calm down. You're getting worried way easier than a grandma does. Probably someone who must've heard the incident at the beach will come to claim him by tomorrow." Nancy assured her.
"But what if that doesn't happen?" Brenda asked again, still wearing that worried look.
Nancy then turned her head to the little boy, who was still unconscious on the hospital bed. Then she sighed.
"If that doesn't happen, I'll take care of the bills." She told Brenda, whose worry seemed to dissipate on hearing those words.
After about four hours, Nancy, who was already dozed off on the couch in the little boy's ward heard a sound and woke. She saw the boy stir and open his bright blue eyes and sit up.
"Hey, take it easy, okay? You're safe. Just relax." Nancy said in her calming voice to calm the boy down.
The boy looked at her and asked, "Where am I?"
"You're in a hospital now. You're safe here." Then the boy calmed down. On noticing this, Nancy asked, "What's your name?"
"I'm Adrian. Adrian Alexander." Adrian replied.
"That's a lovely name. I'm Nancy. Nancy Williams. I work here as a nurse. I found you washed ashore at the beach. How'd you get there? What happened?"
At that moment, everything that happened came back and small tears started dropping from his eyes. "My Dad. They killed him. They killed him." He said, his voice choked with cries. " Who did?" Nancy asked, trying to get more info on how to help him. He didn't answer but cried the more. She then pacified him by putting his head on her laps while stroking his blonde hair.
"You can come live with me, Adrian. I live alone in a big house and it gets lonely everytime. I'm sure you'll love it. I'll take good care of you." Nancy suggested.
"Really?" Adrian asked, getting his hopes up.
"Yes, Adrian. I live alone. I have enough room for one more." Nancy replied.
"Hope it won't trouble you having me around." Adrian said.
" Of course not, little one. We can even share the same room if you feel alone." Nancy said.
" Thank you, Miss Nancy. " He said and hugged her tight. Nancy gasped in surprise for a while then hugged him back.
