"Hail Solaar"

After Adrian disappeared into the wormhole, Greene looked at Narah with a strange look.

"Stop it, Greene. I know that look." Narah said, without even sparing Greene a glance.

"You gave that alien kid the box that was meant for the Original Aava. Why the f*ck would you even do that?" Greene furiously spat expelatives as he questioned Narah.

Narah, on the other hand, kept a calm demeanor and was smiling at the closed gates. About a minute later, a tear dropped slowly from her right eye.

Greene, on seeing this, suddenly felt bad, thinking he made her sad with his words. He reached into his pockets and gave her a handkerchief to clean her face with.

At first, she was puzzled why Greene would be handing her a handkerchief. She then proceeded to touch her face and noticed the tear that fell from her right eye.

She accepted the handkerchief from Greene and wiped the tears.

"Thank you, Greene." Narah said softly.

"I'm sorry, Narah. I must have hurt you with my words." Greene apologized.

Narah chuckled softly. "It's not you, Greene. Your words don't really hurt much." She said casually.

"Oh yeah, why the tears then?" Greene asked, curious.

"I sensed an aura coming from that interesting human. That aura seemed familiar. It almost made me feel like I met a benevolent god in a teenager's body."

"Benevolent god? What in the name of the universe are you talking about?" Greene asked, getting more confused by the minute.

"The Original who mated with the Telekinesis Gurus. As one of them, I could sense his powerful force. I could sense one of those who began the hybrid race consisting of the Aava and the Sertorians." Narah said.

Greene's eyes widened. He was beginning to understand now.

"Yes. I could sense Solaar's presence emanating from that human. It felt rather..warm." Narah said with smiles and released another tear.

"That would only confirm that the Originals have gone but somehow were able to keep their genetic information for other species to be able to assimilate." Greene deduced.

Narah said nothing but went on her knees and kowtowed. When she raised her head, she said. "Hail Solaar."

Meanwhile, immediately Adrian went into the portal, he felt like he went into the bifrost in the Thor movie he used to watch as a child. He was seeing stars and galaxies flash by him and the sight was making him dizzy because of the blistering speed with which he went.

After about two minutes, he looked forward and saw Earth. Immediately he got closer, he closed his eyes and everything suddenly stopped. There was a moment's silence.

He opened one eye, then the other. He was back in his room. He got up and looked at the time. 7:33am. Luckily, it was the weekend and he didn't need to go to school.

He was about coming down from his bed to go and greet his parents when his hand hit something that fell to the ground with a thud.

He looked and saw that it was the box that Narah gave to him as a gift. Then he remembered Greene's words.

"And yeah. You'll see it when you wake up." The words echoed in his head.

Adrian lifted the box. He shook it but it made no noise. He shrugged and put it in his wardrobe.

He was about going to the door when Nancy knocked and slightly opened it. On seeing Adrian awake, she came in and closed the door.

"Morning, Mom." Adrian greeted.

"Morning, baby. How was your night?" Nancy replied.

"It... It went well, ma. How was yours?" Adrian replied.

"It was one of the best nights I've had in a while." Nancy said, her face flushing.

Adrian looked at her with an expression that said, 'what's gotten into you today?'. Then he took the time to assess her. Her hair was slightly disheveled, her night dress seemed like she didn't take her time to put it on as she used to.

Adrian then smiled. Nancy blushed the more knowing that Adrian could tell what happened.

"Okay, mom," Adrian said to ease the tension in the room. "Good to know you enjoyed yourself."

"Yeah. I did. Uhh... Breakfast's ready. We'll be waiting for you." Nancy replied.

"Alright, mom. I'll be down in a minute. I gotta brush my teeth." Adrian replied.

"Okay baby." Nancy said then left.

Adrian donned his pyjamas and headed to his bathroom to brush his teeth. While blushing, him mind went towards the strange box Narah gave to him. And what she said when she gave him the box confused him.

The Aava's archenemy? This was a lot to take in. He hasn't fully learnt about the alien civilization and there's already an archenemy.

Adrian thought of it for a while but everytime, his mind goes to that box. He just shrugged and spat the water which he used to rinse his mouth into the sink and cleaned his mouth with his wet hand.

"I'm hungry. Thoughts can wait." Adrian said to himself in the mirror. then headed downstairs.

About ten minutes later, Adrian and his parents finished their breakfast. Adrian was about going to his room to play some video games when his dad called him back.

"Remember I promised to tell you everything today." Cedric said.

"Yeah. That's true." Adrian said then sat back down.

"So.. here's my story. As you know, I'm the CEO of Alexis Genetics. But about five years before then, I was just a fresh Harvard University biochemistry graduate looking for a job. I found plenty but none related to my field of study. I decided to enrol in a genetics firm because they paid higher.

I was earning a good salary and my supervisor then made me take a look at genetics even though it wasn't my field. And funny enough, it piqued my interest. I became interested in DNA replication and stuff like healing people and solving hereditary health problems just by changing some little things in their DNA patterns and other things related.

A year after I was employed, another fresh graduate landed in the company. He was a Russian-American named Boris Dentine. I showed him the ropes and taught him many things. We became friends during work and after work.

One summer holiday, our boss gave us a two week leave. We then decided to explore the vast Amazon jungle. After one night there, we went deeper in. While chatting and walking, we mistakingly fell into a deep sinkhole about twenty feet deep. Luckily we fell into a flowing stream of freshwater. The current wasn't too much so we were able to swim to the rocky shore nearby.

When we were out of the water, I stood and observed my surroundings. Stalactites were hanging from the cave ceiling and pointing downwards. And honestly I was scared 'cause I felt any small disturbance could send those rocks crashing down on us.

I turned on my flashlight and observed my surroundings with Boris. Then we saw a light coming from a particular corner in the rocky caverns. Initially, we thought it was fire, but fire doesn't give off white light."
