Thesra was exhausted after the long day of meetings and rituals at the sacred groove. She collapsed unto her bed, ready to sleep for days. As she drifted off, she thought she saw the leader of the mages sitting on her vanity chair in front of the mirror. She shook her head, telling herself it was just a dream. But when she opened her eyes again, there she was, real as life.

"Greetings, princess," she said, her voice cool and emotionless.

Thesra sighed in exasperation. The leader of the mages always popped in unannounced, using her powers.

"You know you can't just enter my room whenever you want!" Thesra said. "You should at least knock, or send a message or something. I don't need you just appearing out of nowhere like this!"

Yori ignored her protests, turning her attention to the mirror. "This is a fine mirror," she said, running her hand along the frame. "It has great power. I can see so many things in it's reflection."
