[ENOUGH]

It was enough to pause time itself. a crushing pressure was felt on everyone's backs. Amelia and Alex slowly turned around to look at Neolyn who was seemed extremely displeased. 

[the heck do you guys think you are doing]

"the heck do you guys think you are doing"

the emotion in her voice resonated with her overwhelming power, which she used to suppress the two. Everyone was filled with fear. After seeing that everyone has calmed down, Neolyn let go. 

"i-it was just a friendly duel" Amelia stuttered.

"we got a little out of control, forgive us" Alex said with his head bowed down.

"what kind of friendly duel has people literally trying to kill each other, never mind that! It's time we set out to find our friends." Neolyn went back to her normal self.

We loaded up the cart and bid farewell to our orphanage friends, started our journey to lord's castle. The city was designed with a concentric class based layout, with most important people like royalty in the center and the least important people like peasants in the outer most circle of the city.

As our cart entered the inner circles, we had the reaction that we had expected. the people looked at us with disdain. we were even stopped in the path many times to confirm our identities. But Neolyn was getting a little impatient. maybe that's why.. maybe that's why we're breaking through a barricade of soldiers.

"are you guys serious?" asked Sasha who was holding on for dear life on the cart. Neolyn used her shadow to posses the horses and run as fast as can. Me and Alex ended up having to protect the cart from being attacked and clear up our path.

"we've gotten this far already, we can't pull out now!" Alex yelled out as burned a huge field of thorny bushes set up by the enemy espers.

"in the name of the princess Stella, HALT!" a soldier cried out as all the soldiers point their spears at us. 

"oh no, i don't think so." Neolyn said calmly as her shadows went under the cart and created giant spider like legs and lifted it while retracting the possessed horse inside her shadow realm.

our cart suddenly transformed into an eldrich horror with huge spider legs that carried our cart at ridiculously high speeds. all the defenses that they set up to stop us had become useless as we can simply go over it. 

a little while later, we reached a forest in middle of the city. Neolyn had already scanned the area in front of us and explained to us that there is a forest on the path for some reason.

"Neolyn wait" we heard a voice call out and Neolyn stopped. 

we peeked out of the cart and we saw a girl wearing our school uniform. 

"that's princess draco!" Axle said surprised. 

Neolyn spread out her shadows and lowered the cart. we got down from the cart and looked at draco. She signalled to someone hiding behind her. and soon enough people started come out. every single one of our class mates and people who were unfortunate to be suddenly transported here.

"you guys!" Jessica came out looking like mess.

"i'm so glad that everyone is safe, but it is not time to have a reunion." Mr. Tyler came forward. 

"what's happening?" Neolyn asked with a serious face. 

before Mr. Tyler could say anything we were suddenly attacked, thankfully, we were saved by Neolyn's shadows that quickly formed a shield.

"where do you think you are going?" A voice was heard from above.

"that's Aranza, the annoying metal esper" Draco looked very annoyed.

"that's princess Aranza to you" the guy following behind her spoke.

"who are you then?" Neolyn asked with a serious face.

"i'm Edward, the one who will put an end to you" he spoke valiantly!

"and the girl behind the tree?"

"i'm surprised that you noticed me. I'm Stella the crown princess of the Nacht kingdom" a girl who was hiding behind a tree suddenly revealed herself.

without warning, she launched a attack at us. But Neolyn's shield protected us again. 

"light?" Neolyn said in an annoyed tone.

"yes, light which is super effective against your darkness" Stella said proudly.

"umm! actually-" Draco was about to say something, before Neolyn stops her

"now you have nowhere to run" Aranza shouted while summoning a huge armor made with her strange metal.

"not exactly!" Neolyn replied.

"we have surrounded you, you can't go anywhere else" Edward screamed while bring up huge wall of water to completely surround us. 

[BY DECREE OF THE SHADOW EMPRESS-] Neolyn unleashed huge technique. her shadows quickly covered the whole area in darkness and we were dragged into a huge portal that seemed to lead to the abyss.

it felt like we were falling for a long time. then we hit solid ground, the whole thing was disorienting, the darkness was retracted and we were exposed to light. 

"woah! Neolyn, please don't shadow warp without warning" Draco was yelling. 

"what was that?" jessica screamed.

"what happened? where are we?" I suddenly heard a voice that i shouldn't hear. 

i looked to see Stella, Aranza and Edward. 

and i heard another voice, that i also shouldn't be hearing here.

"hey, wait where are we?" Azure shook her head.

"welcome students and other unwanted guests that Neolyn picked up, to the Ashokan space military command center" i saw empress Frostine's walking towards us with the panther squad that always accompanies the royal family.
