Ghostly improvement

'Time must flow differently in that place for enough of it to pass for this to occur.' I thought while looking at Hade's level that was sitting at one ninety three. Yes Hades had not only hit champion level but had exceeded it by a not insignificant amount. Most of it's moves had been transcended at least once with the new transcendent moves formed from them being mastered as well. It's stats didn't fall far behind either making it far more dangerous than when I left. -

The new transcended moves were like the originals but much more powerful and held additional effects based on how Hades had chosen to develop them, in this case violently. Chaos beam not only left the one it was used on confused but even played tricks on their mind to make them think of allies as enemies and vice versa. Shade haunt took the principals of shadow sneak and turned it up to eleven while adding an extra Curse-like effect that slowly damaged the one it was used on over time afterwards. Dark decree was a sort of dark type version of the physic type move Future sight in that it couldn't be stopped once begun. Unlike Future sight however this move had no delay at all making it much more insidious.-

Death howl was by far the most amazing of the new transcended moves as it did everything Ominous wind did but both much more potently and with a guaranteed buff with each use unlike the original. That doesn't sound all that great but once you factor in that ominous wind buffed attack, defense, special attack, special defense and speed that guarantee was a massive thing. It meant in no more than two uses Hades threat level would basically double until the buffs went out. Broken chain took the attack interrupting necessity of Sucker punch and effectively turned it into a massive punishment to the pokemon that was going to attack before they could even move, it was like punishing even the thought of retaliating.-

Dark shatter was the same as Dark pulse but much more violent and covered a wider area allowing the ability to hit multiple enemies. Black nova took the condensed projectile of Shadow ball and further condensed it into a pitch black marble that exploded on contact like a dark supernova. It was fast too, like bullet from a gun fast so dodging it wasn't likely. Finally Haunted hunt put a sort of Future sight like attack into play on the pokemon being withdrawn while punishing the new pokemon that came out with an unavoidable attack. -

If the original pokemon gets sent out again the Future sight like attack triggers and they take damage unavoidably. That was a theme I had noticed with the developmental path Hades chose, inevitability. An aspect of it's death domain I suspected but wasn't sure exactly. Whatever the case I suppose it doesn't really matter as I had little hand in it. This was all Hade's doing and I was just proud of it. Funny thing was after my whole chat with those two gods I was feeling much calmer for the first time in I don't know how long. -

The creeping pressure in the back of my head to get stronger without knowing when I'd ever truly become a god if ever was gone and I was much more relaxed for it. Both Ar-ceus and that other being had more or less confirmed that it was no longer a matter of if but when. Perhaps there was some pressure to decide what the overarching domain of my divinity would be but I already had an idea on that front the moment that being mentioned it.-

Reality, what is true and what is false. Perhaps my understanding was flawed but the way I understood it that domain had to be the one with the most potential out of all of them as it was effectively rule making and breaking at will. For example you could swap what was true for what was false or vice versa to do things that would break all the rules without actually doing so. Like say if someone died you could simply use the domain of reality to rewrite their death entirely leaving them alive instead.-

It would be as if they simply never died to begin with rather than you resurrected them, a loophole in a sense. Giratina had attempted something similar but was corrupted in the attempt as it's domain was not up to the task and broke the rules forcefully thus bringing the backlash. In a manner of speaking Giratina's punishment for reaching beyond it's station was the inversion of it's domain from matter to antimatter through this corruption. Perhaps it was unfair that the reality domain had no such problem but then again, reality was never fair to begin with.-

Through Hades I learnt that nearly two years had passed since I went up to whatever that realm was and it had never slacked off on defending my stuff during this time. Despite this however it admitted that without the plates it wouldn't have been able to make so much progress and the others were no different. Even with the vague understanding I got from Hades it was clear that my pokemon had kept in contact at the very least while I was away. That sort of made me a bit curious about how the others were doing but I didn't send out a pulse through our bond quite yet announcing my return as there was much to do first and I didn't want to be distracted.-

For example I had to use the evolution token on my spear, contact Birch and the others to let them know I'm still kicking. I had to get caught up in current events and what I have missed while I was gone and even get started on setting the reality domain as my divinities overarching domain so my ascension was started. Much to do and so little time to do it in, my pokemon showing up would only increase the time needed for it.
