Sunny remembers the moment when his mother explained to him about feeling grateful because not everyone lives like him and his family. Qira's story made him feel embarrassed.
Sunny's red eyes melted with tears but he quickly wiped them away before Qira realized.
"Enjoy your food slowly. Don't be afraid that you won't eat food like this again," he said with a smile. He didn't want to watch Qira eat and it would make his adopted sister embarrassed.
At a place not far from the hospital cafeteria, there was a group of people walking there while arguing.
"They damn poor people! Because of them, I have to spend a lot of money." that was the scolding of Risdo who was walking with Mrs. Sally. Behind them were Mr. Baron and Clarissa.
They had just returned from the cashier to pay for the post-mortem needed to sue Sunny and Keanu or the insults Risdo and Mrs Sally had received.
"Don't worry, Risdo. I deliberately took you to this hospital so that the post-mortem results would be very clear. There is no doubt about the health checks and services here. Look at the scratches on my hands that I got when I fell in that bastard's arena." Mrs. Sally answered.
"Even though this is also a hospital owned by the Garendra family, I don't want to lose my pride again because I lost the appeal. The CEO of Garendra Group must pay for the insult that bastard gave me!" she continued, angrily.
Mrs. Sally and Risdo, who were previously arrested and taken to the police station on the orders of Commissioner Shine, managed to get out of detention temporarily after her husband, Mr. Baron, returned from out of town with their daughter and paid a fine of five hundred million rupiahs for the two people. Meanwhile, Jonas received a transfer sanction to the border on Shine's orders.
"Aren't you the ones who should be ashamed for causing trouble to Aunt Martha's family? Just because her granddaughter broke a flower vase by accident, you insulted her and resorted to physical violence which resulted in her grandson's anger. If I were Aunt Martha's granddaughter, I would do that to you too!" Mr. Baron, who was fed up with his wife's arrogant attitude, also spoke out.
"I don't want to defend them, but the reality is that before we were in that house, Aunt Martha had devoted her life to my mother, even until her grandmother Clarista died, Aunt Martha was the one who took care of my mother, not you, Sally! Aunt Martha is like my own aunt!"
"But I am your wife, that is reality!" Mrs. Sally immediately denied it.
Mr. Baron stared at his wife for a moment before shaking his head briefly, "As you wish. I hope you learn a lesson so you can lower your arrogance." he continued annoyed.
Mrs. Sally and Risdo were silent. The two of them stopped for a moment and just watched Mr. Baron who was annoyed and walked to the cafeteria faster than them.
Mr. Baron was tired because he had a lot of things to take care of out of town with Clarista, but his wife and Risdo were causing unnecessary fuss.
"Dad, wait for me." Clarista followed her father's quick steps into the cafeteria. She, who is closer to her father than her mother, doesn't know what to say, especially to her mother. Moreover, this problem also includes Risdo, a cousin who she would like to avoid if possible.
Mr. Baron and Clarista, who entered the hospital's magnificent canteen first, looked in the same direction, namely Sunny and Qira who were sitting not far from the hospital entrance.
The two of them didn't immediately ask even though they knew it was the grandchild of their housekeeper there. But because Sunny was currently wearing hospital staff clothes and Qira was wearing a nice dress, the father and daughter were a little unsure, and after the two of them approached Sunny's table, they greeted Sunny and Qira.
"Aren't you Aunt Martha's grandchildren? What are you doing here?" Mr. Baron asked in surprise.
Instead of answering, Qira, who realized her employer's presence, immediately stopped eating and put down the spoon and knife in her hand. Qira stood up and bowed half before greeting her master.
"Sir, Miss Clarista, you are here too?" Qira greeted politely. Meanwhile, Sunny remained seated and just gave a faint smile to Mr. Baron and Clarissa.
"How are you, Mr. Baron and Miss Clarista? Have you returned from out of town? Aren't you coming home next week?" Sunny asked politely and calmly as usual. But this time there was no dictionary for him to lower his head again, even though Mr. Baron and his daughter were very kind people to him.
"Please sit here, sir, but if you don't mind." He continued inviting his former boss to sit with them.
"I want to too, but—," Mr. Baron didn't finish his words, but a call from his wife from behind made him turn his head.
"Honey, why are you sitting there? the view is not good. I want to be on the edge so I can see the view of the city!" called Mrs. Sally who didn't realize that Sunny and Qira were there.
But Sunny, who was still hearing the evil woman's voice, had a devilish smile on his face, and the smile got wider when their eyes met.
"It turns out the power of money is so extraordinary that it can buy justice." The sentence was aimless and could be interpreted differently by anyone, especially in the ears of Risdo and Mrs. Sally who were offended.
Both of them were as stunned as Mr. Baron and Clarista before when they realized Sunny and Qira's presence. But the confusion didn't last long for arrogant vengeful heads like Risdo and his aunt.
"You damn poor fellow! Why are you guys here too? Just makes my blood boil!" a hateful sneer sounded, "Honey, let's get out of here. I won't be able to swallow my food because I see ignorant bastards like them!" She continued.
"Wait, Auntie. You forgot something about them." Risdo blocked his aunt's departure.
"I don't know how the two of them can afford the luxury of being in this hospital, and not impossible that the two of them sold themselves to bring their beloved grandmother to be treated here. But I don't care."
"What I care about is the loss they have to pay from us, Auntie. They should listen and prepare some more money to pay our losses. Don't they still have to pay you three hundred million rupiahs?"
Mrs. Sally, who was already filled with hatred for Grandma Martha and her grandchildren, almost forgot about their debt.
"The day hasn't even changed yet. There's still time until tomorrow to prepare the money to throw at you." Sunny answered calmly and coolly. He was fed up because the amount of change was still being questioned after they had put his grandmother through surgery.
"Yes, it's until tomorrow, but first you have to know that what you have to pay is not that much anymore," one of Sunny's eyebrows rose when he heard the cunning words from the man whose face was already very ugly because of Sunny's punch.
"We have also submitted three hundred rupiahs to the police station. But after that, we will sue you for 1 billion for your rude treatment of us in front of the Garendra Group office lobby. You can't avoid it because there is CCTV footage and lots of witnesses. So get ready to rot in prison!" Risdo's threat scared Qira, but instead made Sunny's smile even scarier.
Sunny smiled mockingly, "Is one billion rupiahs enough? Why are your prices so cheap?" The sentence was insulting.
"Damn! Why are you so arrogant about your poverty, huh?!" snapped Mrs Sally. She even hit Sunny's dining table and scared Qira then quickly stood behind Sunny.
"Don't be surprised, Auntie. Behind him is the CEO of Garendra Group and also the Grand Commissioner of this country. How could he be afraid of the threat of one billion rupiahs? Such a small price would not be considered by rich people like them."
"What I wonder is how he can approach big people like them. Was his tongue-licking rich people's shoes so satisfying? Ha ha ha…"
Risdo's laughter echoed in the canteen and again caused a stir. Some of the staff who had just found out who Sunny was tonight were already walking to mediate the commotion. But Sunny's code stopped them in their tracks.
"Risdo, Mom, please stop! Haven't you insulted Grandma Martha's family enough all this time? They work with us and we have to pay for their services, not them taking our money, right? So what? What is the reason you always bother them and look down on them?" This time Clarissa uttered her voice. She could no longer contain her annoyance at the behavior of her mother and cousin.
"You don't know anything about them, Clarissa. You would never believe that every day the coolies' wages were distributed, the money that Uncle Baron entrusted to him was always reduced by one piece. But somehow you guys never believe me!" Risdo again made slander without reason.
