"Miss, can you help me find someone?" Felix, who was already in the hospital lobby, went straight to the reception desk and asked there.
"Can I know the name of the patient you are going to visit and the address, sir?" The nurse answered while fiddling with her computer and waiting for Felix's answer.
"Mmm... I don't know her grandmother's name, but the person I'm looking for is called Sunny. I just came from the Garendra Group office and the CEO there said I had to look for the person I was looking for at this hospital. If I'm not mistaken, he took his grandmother to this hospital."
Felix's explanation clearly showed that he was looking for the President of the hospital.
"Ah, sir. I understand who you are looking for. But please wait a moment as I will confirm your name as a guest." The nurse told Felix to wait and turned around to call security nearby.
"Please escort this sir to the waiting room. I will confirm the list of guests who want to meet the President Director. There are so many guests with appointments, but I don't know when the President will have free time." She complained to the security guard she knew.
'President Director? But I don't want to meet the President Director,' Felix muttered to himself. He returned closer to the reception desk.
"Miss, it seems you heard wrong. I don't want to meet the President Director. I was asking if you could help me meet a man named Sunny, but why did you tell me to wait as a guest who wanted to meet the Director?" Felix asked in surprise.
"But the person you are looking for is... the President?" The nurse's sentences hung around when talking to Felix but Sunny's arrival interrupted their conversation and made her switch to greeting Sunny.
Felix immediately turned around. He was surprised by the arrival of the man he seemed to be marking but Sunny's appearance this time made him unsure if Sunny was the same man who borrowed his money.
"Y-you?" Felix even pointed at Sunny and looked him up and down in surprise.
"How are you, Mr. Felix? I received news that you were looking for me all the way here. Has my brother returned the money I borrowed?" Sunny asked while extending his hand to shake with Felix.
While accepting Sunny's hand hesitantly, Felix expressed his surprise, "Your appearance is different, sir. You're not like yesterday. Ah, I'm sorry." he continued comparing Sunny's appearance to yesterday and suddenly he fell silent because he felt it was inappropriate to say that.
"I understand what you mean, but I am the same person you helped at that time. I'll repeat my question, has my brother paid the money I borrowed from you?" Sunny answered and asked again.
"S-so I didn't recognize the wrong person? You are indeed the man who borrowed money yesterday for your grandmother's treatment, right? Then, why is it that the CEO of Garendra Group is the one who paid the money you borrowed? I'm not deaf to hear the wrong sentence when you said that the CEO was your brother, right?"
Felix, who was completely confused, asked continuously as if what he was experiencing was a dream.
"Yes, he's my cousin."
"If he is your cousin, then you are the son of Mr. Sean, the cold-handed Business King? Am I dreaming?" Felix still couldn't believe that he had met and helped Sunny, whose life background wasn't just anything.
"Don't exaggerate, I'm just a construction worker, haha." Sunny laughed. "Come on, come to my room, Mr. Felix," he said and they started walking towards Sunny's room.
Once again, Felix was amazed by his appearance, people's gazes at him, and also Sunny's current large room. He even hesitated to express his thanks after Sunny kept his promise to pay back the money he lent.
"Sir, just so you know. Last night after you went to take your grandmother from the hospital. I regretted why I was too kind to people who met me for the first time, and I didn't know if you were lying or not at that time,"
"The only thing I was holding on to at that time was your words which mentioned the name of the Garendra Group office. Apart from that, I hope to God that I didn't do something stupid and wrong by giving you that money."
In his expression when telling what he felt, Sunny knew that Felix was being honest.
"I was also almost angry and lost faith that there are still good people in this world who want to help other people selflessly," Sunny answered calmly.
"In the last few months, I have met many kinds of people, and all of them have made me draw the line that the economy affects a person's well-being,"
"If the person is not someone who has a lot of money, then what they earn in their work, they will only spend it on themselves. That's a fact, when you still have a shortage, why should you help other people you don't know?"
"When we are poor, everyone's gaze will be slanted towards us. But if we have a lot of money, other people's gaze will be completely directed at us. It's like the law of nature,"
"But you are different. I almost gave up looking for help when my grandmother had to have surgery. Everyone seemed to be giving me a hard time. But you came to lend me your money without any suspicion. Even though you had just expressed your worries at that time,"
"More than anything, Mr. Felix, I thank you very much. My grandmother's life was saved because of God's goodness through your hands."
Felix suddenly felt reluctant. He didn't dare answer, but one thing confused him. Why did a billionaire like Sunny experience such a low point at that time? Isn't money working for him?
"Hmm, sorry if I ask a lot. But why would someone like you need help in such circumstances? You have everything, right?" Felix asked, confused.
"Let's just say I'm doing research on social life as a poor person," Sunny answered lightly.
'Ah, I know. Surely rich people seem bored and try something unique. I guess that makes sense. He has everything, so it's up to him to do whatever he wants,' Felix muttered to himself and concluded himself.
In the middle of their conversation, the sound of the office telephone ringing disrupted the peace.
[Excuse me, President. I wanted to inform you that Miss Qira is already in the lobby.]
"No need to go up. I'll come down because we're leaving soon," he answered briefly before ending the call.
"Mr. Felix, it looks like our conversation will have to stop here. I have an appointment with my sister, she's already downstairs," Sunny said to Felix while handing over his business card.
"This is my business card. You can contact me when you need help. Hopefully, I can repay your kindness in kind, sir."
"Don't call me that, sir. Just call me by my name, just Felix." Felix answered awkwardly and accepted Sunny's business card.
"Okay, Felix. See you another time. Come on, I'll take you. I'll go down too," Sunny stood up and invited Felix out of his room to go downstairs, to meet Qira to continue their journey.
