Grandma Martha's Son and Grandson

"Bro, for whatever reason in the world, I still can't believe that you are rich. The clothes, car, and money in my wallet, I never dreamed of before. I never even dreamed of having a pretty little bag that I could carry like a teenage girl that I see everywhere."

Qira's story, which was initially fun, gradually faded because of her melancholy. 

Sunny, who was listening, smiled sadly. Qira and her grandmother would have lived far from being well off if they had not been helped by working in Mr Baron's family home.

Sunny rubbed Qira's head with one hand because currently, Sunny was driving. They will go straight to the girls' dormitory to register Qira.

"Forget about that sadness. Now everything has changed. You can do whatever you want and have whatever things you want. Besides, in your new place, everything you need will be there. You only need to bring your equipment." he said calming Qira.

"Thank you, you are a good brother. I am lucky to have you because I never had the chance to experience what it's like to have an older sibling. Grandma said that my older sibling was taken by my father when I was still in the womb," Qira briefly told an old story that she didn't even think was important to tell Sunny.

But Sunny's eyebrows rose, "You have other siblings? Why didn't grandma ever tell me about that?" he asked in surprise.

"Because it's not a beautiful story to remember. But since I've opened the story, then that's fine. I'll tell you what I know, but for details, you can ask Grandma." Qira answered glumly.

Qira began to tell the story of her mother, who was not Grandma Martha's biological daughter. Grandma Martha's biological child is Qira's biological father.

Before her father and mother married, Qira's father already had a wife and they gave birth to a son. However, Grandma Martha's daughter-in-law at that time was a bad woman. Apart from being rude to Grandma Martha, her daughter-in-law often left the house at night and only returned in the morning. 

Because Grandma Martha's son worked as a construction project worker in the city, he could only go home on Sunday mornings, and in the evening he had to go back to the city because he had to work on Monday morning, this made his wife feel uncomfortable at home, but her husband did not find out about her actions.

Grandma Martha reprimanded her but her daughter-in-law responded even more harshly. Because she didn't like being lectured by her mother-in-law every day, the woman left her family without any news.

Grandma Martha's son was frustrated because he had to live without a partner to take care of him and his son who was seven years old at the time. Therefore, Grandma Martha looked for a village girl who was as poor as them, namely Qira's mother.

The marriage took place until finally, Qira was in her mother's womb. His father was so happy because he would have another baby and his son wouldn't be lonely if his father went to town again.

But that little bit of happiness disappeared when Grandma Martha's first daughter-in-law returned and took her son away. That woman didn't want her son to be raised by a stepmother.

Grandma Martha is sad and sorry for Qira's mother. In addition, when Qira's father preferred his beautiful first wife and their son, Qira's father had the heart to leave his mother and wife who were heavily pregnant.

The story made Qira cry. Sunny was stunned again when he heard it.

"Then where are your father and brother now? If I help look for them, will you and Grandma forgive them?" Sunny asked after slowly stopping the car.

Qira shook her head, "There won't be a story like that, bro. Grandma said, a few years after my mother died and I was still a toddler, grandmother received news from my father's friends that my father had died at work, and they didn't know where his wife and son were." she answered sadly.

"Since then, Grandma has never looked for her daughter-in-law and grandson. Grandma also doesn't have the money or time to go to town and look for them because Grandma started working at Mr. Baron's house. As far as I know, I was grandma's only priority all this time until you came among us, bro."

Sunny can understand.

"Okay, if that is the case. Let's not continue the story about that just yet. Soon we will arrive at the girls' dormitory where you will stay," Sunny diverted the conversation.

"Bro, do I have to live in a dorm? Can't I just stay with you and grandma like usual?" Qira asked with a gloomy expression on her face.

"I told you before, right? You are grandma's hope. Grandma wants you to be a successful woman in the future. Do you want to disappoint grandma?" Sunny emphasized again.

"Believe me, I won't put you in hell. I want you to learn many things from today, in different places and with different things," he continued.

"Then what if I miss grandma and you?" Qira's question seemed to bargain with Sunny's decision. Even though she was only an adopted sister, Qira never once went against Sunny's kind words for her. 

"I'll guarantee you won't miss us. Your views and thoughts will change for the better. Besides, you can go home at any time following the holidays set by the hostel. I told you you don't feel like you're in hell, you're at school." Sunny even taunted him.

"Okay, I'm not asking anymore. I know you will not limit your intentions once you have decided." Qira gave up and kept quiet.

The rest of their journey was silent because of Qira's silence, who looked sad, but Sunny still smiled in response, especially when he saw the end of the tall building they were heading towards.

"We're here," Sunny said when he saw the large symbol of the dormitory.

FIW is an abbreviation for Future Intelligent Woman. That was the name of the girls' dormitory that Sunny decided for Qira so that her adopted sister would learn many things, especially business. 

Even though it's too early, Sunny has planned to create a small business for Qira so that she can stand up on her own.

Sunny's limited edition black Porce entered the big gate of FIW and made several people there glance without looking away until the luxury car disappeared around the corner of the road leading to the main FIW building.

"Come on, come down!" he asked Qira before Sunny got out of the car first. 

However, just as Sunny closed the car door and was about to turn around to see the situation, his alert radar activated when he felt someone approaching him as if they wanted to attack him.

Sure enough, Sunny received a hard kick, but he was still able to parry the attack. However, it wasn't just kicks, Sunny also received steady punches without giving him pause.
