Waking up with Tahir was something that I definitely wanted to experience more of. He was such an affectionate person when he was tired. He’d held me in his arms long after we’d woken up and only relented and gotten out of bed when I complained of being hungry. 


I thought about calling Dex, but I wasn't sure what I would say to him. I wasn't even sure if he knew I was missing.


When we made it downstairs, Riley had already finished cooking breakfast. Leilani and Ziv were already seated and eating while Riley was in the process of making himself a plate. 


There was a full spread of bacon, eggs, toast, hashbrowns, grits, flapjacks, and freshly squeezed juice. I was practically drooling as we fixed our plates.
