I stared at the three of them as they exited the car. Never in a million years would I have expected them to show up at my dad’s house to get me. The sound of the car door slamming shook me from my stupor. I sprinted to them and jumped on Reid, wrapping my arms and legs around him. He laughed and hugged me tightly. 


“Hello, darling,” he said through his laughter. 


The calming warmth that spread through me at his touch made me want to weep with relief. 


I could see Matt over his shoulder, watching us impatiently. I reached for him over Reid’s shoulder. Matt chuckled and stepped forward to kiss me. I grabbed his shoulder and clung to him, pulling him into an awkward group hug. 


“I take it you missed us, princess?” he asked. 


My voice was muffled by Matt’s shirt, but I didn't loosen my grip. Matt just stepped closer so that I could get my arms more firmly around him and Reid.
