Chapter 46 : A Luna Ball

*Amaya*

It’d been a few weeks. Ursuline had left before I had the chance to talk to her but it was okay, it had to be. I was surrounded by people who were living the answers to the questions I had. I had to open my eyes and really get myself involved with the people that lived in this magical and mysterious land.

I didn’t know if I’d live forever or if my life would simply be extended. I didn’t know what it would mean for my children. What would it mean for my brother’s children? How would the political landscape change if two of the Alpha Kings had elven blood? Only time would tell for those two questions.

Wren had decided to throw a ball in honor of the birthday I’d missed. I worked closely with Petra, Wren’s stepmother, to plan and get everything prepared for it. I had to be honest, after the last ball that I’d planned, I was a little apprehensive about this one. Whenever I got ahead of myself and lost in the anxiety of it all, I’d place my hand on my mark.
