Mia sits in the car garage, waiting for the courage to get out for what feels like hours. The last time she stepped foot into this mansion, she had gotten the life scared out of her by a deeply inebriated man and made out with her boss.
She certainly keeps herself entertained, she supposes.
After a quick pep talk to herself, she manages to make it into the building. Nothing explodes the second she walks through the door, so Mia takes that as a small victory.
Of course, ten seconds later, she is immediately accosted by Sabrina’s nagging voice.
“You didn’t stay for me to okay the quality of Mr. Shir’s room last night. Why didn't you wait?”
“Hadn’t you gone home by the time I was done?” Mia is sure of it.
“Yes, but you should have waited regardless.”
