Chapter 9 : Clear Intentions

There were not enough words in the English or Spanish language that could possibly describe how pissed Mia was.

It starts as a small smolder, but as time passes it burns more and more until it becomes a wildfire that can not be contained.

What kind of man would kiss someone and then completely ignore them?

Even if he regrets it, there is a level of decorum that she expects.

After all, Mia regrets that kiss even more than Elon does, she's sure. Especially if it means that she has to spend every working hour in his house, watching him ignore her.

Every free moment she has is spent on job searching, but unfortunately, her sheer force of will isn’t enough to magically make a job appear for her. Not yet, at least.

It’s only been a week since the kiss, but in that time she has only crossed paths with Elon once if she doesn’t count the vase fiasco. At that moment, he only nodded and mumbled a brief hello, disappearing into his office right after.
