Things are finally starting to turn around for Mia. She wakes up with a text from Louise saying, ‘You’re in! Introductory lunch today with the boss at 1 p.m., we’ll go over details then.’ The address of the restaurant is attached.


Mia smiles at her phone, thrilled that she can actually start working again. She’s more than a little grateful that Louise would vouch for her like this, and immediately hops out of bed to start getting ready.


Obviously, she’s still feeling conflicted about Elon, but there was something freeing about telling him off and finally getting to say goodbye. It was something close to closure, even if her heart still feels like it is an open wound. It has to heal eventually, right?


Mia gets dressed, excited to never have to wear her maid uniform ever again. Wearing her own clothes feels so freeing, like her life is finally getting back on track.
