Elon is already walking back to his office across from her, but Mia is quick on his heels.
“What is wrong with you, Elon?” Mia hisses, slamming the door behind her as they stand in Elon’s office.
Elon steps back, clearly trying to stifle a smile.
“What happened to Mr. Dahan? I think I was finally starting to get used to it.”
Mia scoffs, pointing an accusatory finger in his face.
“I thought we were finally starting to find some sort of peace here. I told you, there is nothing between us.”
“And I heard you. Have I done anything to overstep your boundaries?” Elon asks, leaning closer. He’s clearly trying to get on her nerves, and she hates to admit it is working.
“You mean, other than demanding that I work later when you just heard me making plans?” Mia leans in as well.
“I would have told you earlier, but you were taking a personal call during work hours. Very unprofessional if you ask me,” Elon smirks.
