As Mia wakes from a deep slumber, she’s filled with a deep sense of calm. She rolls over on her side to see her husband fast asleep at her side. She smiles over at him, stroking his hair gently.
They decided to forgo their honeymoon until things settle down a bit. Mia doesn’t feel comfortable leaving her grandparents alone for too long while Atif still has it out for her, so the two settle on a staycation.
They’ve been curled up in their own little world for about a week now, taking the time to adjust to the new house. It provides enough privacy that they still feel enough like they’re alone together despite the new cohabitation.
That being said, Mia’s been getting a little stir-crazy only seeing the same three people for a week and she’s more than ready for a change of pace.
