2. Rejected

"You said, that you want an Omega." Shaga's voice became weak, he stepped back and braced himself once more to see this man standing upright before him. He felt his heartbeat speed up to get answers, but Shaga had guessed how it would end.

In a hallway of the man's apartment that felt more suffocating over time for him. The examination result paper he got from the school was still tightly held in his hand and became crumpled because of the emotional pressure he channeled. Shaga looked at the man's face for an expression that gave him at least hope, but Shaga found nothing. The pheromone didn't even smell at all.

"I did it," Shaga said. His eyes trembled and he couldn't stare any longer and chose that the floor was much more attractive now. "But why don't you say if it's not me? You just shut up and make me feel like you have hope."

"I didn't ask you to be an Omega." The voice jolted Shaga and even made him look down even more profoundly. This is a shame.

He hated how his Omega nature had now taken hold of him. He didn't want to look weak and vulnerable like this at all.

Shaga began to realize where he was, people seemed to have no place for people living in luxury apartments like this. However, it wasn't because of that that that Shaga liked him so much that he ventured to come here for the first time. Shaga likes this Alpha and he has given up his future to become an Omega.

"I'm starting to realize it now. I'm sorry to disturb your time." Shaga said hurriedly, ignoring how his voice trembled he didn't want.

"Aware of what?" the man asked with emphasis. Garvin, the man older than him is Adrian's brother, someone Alpha who constantly bullies him at school. There is a vast difference between Adrian and Garvin. However, again Shaga can't do anything when dealing with Garvin like now.

Shaga firmly believes that Garvin understands very well what Shaga said.

Shaga couldn't bear to stand on the same scope anymore with this man. His heart had been broken along with his evaporated hopes that did not remain.

"We are different. Not in the same world," Shaga replied. For the first time, Shaga got to know this new taste in his life and it turned out that it was not that simple, unlike people's dreams that would end up with a smile.

Shaga knows it's wrong to hope for a man who is not in the same world at all. They are different and the differences are so contrasting, just imagining in his mind it feels impossible.

However, among all that Shaga was relieved he had told the truth from the deepest heart he had saved how many years this had been after he struggled to attend as an Omega.

Shaga turned around, left the building, and promised himself not to come set foot there again.

'Where is your Shaga?'

Shaga looked at his phone screen where Adrian had been sending messages asking where he was. He ignored that from the moment the first message came in, there was no point in answering it all.

Adrian will discover every worst inch Shaga is going through and he doesn't want to be known. He couldn't imagine if Adrian only knew about Shaga liking Garvin, what he would say later.

Shaga hugged himself in the night air that was so piercing to his skin, but he still didn't want to go home. He knew for sure that his mother was worried about him at home, but Shaga also didn't want to disappoint his mother with him being an Omega. All hope that Shaga will become an Alpha, but indeed that Shaga is stupid for the sake of someone he loves he changed it just to get a rejection.

A ringing call from his cell phone became the only sound that broke the silence of the night. Once again Shaga ignored him and he stood up to enter the building where many people were stranded here. Homeless shelter. It's so pitiful, Shaga won't let people he knows pity him.

After a week that seemed very long to him, Shaga came home greeted with the cries of his mother and also a stiff hug from Adrian who was inexplicably in his little house at this time.

Shaga without saying anything went into his room and lay down on a soft mattress that he hadn't seen in the week he had escaped.

"Shaga."

Adrian's voice came into his hearing, he was just about to close his eyes again and then failed when Adrian sat next to him.

"What's wrong with you?"

Shaga doesn't answer anything, Adrian is a stranger who came into his life without Shaga's wishes and he can't say anything.

"Shaga."

Shaga gasped as Adrian flipped over so that he lay on his back facing him.

"What's wrong? You can tell me."

Shaga shook off Adrian's hand when the man was about to touch it again. He rose to sit down to face Adrian's face who was looking at his in the lingering worry.

"Go."

Adrian's face softened, and his hand stretched out to clasp Shaga's palm tightly. Like a hot iron surrounding Shaga made him look at him, Shaga thought for a moment that it was Garvin, but when he blinked and Adrian's face reappeared.

"Go, I won't share anything with you."

Didn't Adrian understand what Shaga wanted, he just wanted Adrian to leave here immediately. Shaga didn't want to deal with all things related to Garvin at all anymore, his heart still felt wet with pain even though Shaga knew that Adrian was completely unrelated to this.

"Shaga, why are you stubborn?"

Shaga crackled. "I was rejected by Alpha. Are you satisfied? So, you go."
