Three more ~~asking for pink~~
James Anderson arrived just in time for dinner, and Auntie Eva's family enthusiastically invited him to join them.
The people here were hospitable. As long as there were guests, they would show the greatest enthusiasm in entertaining them. Auntie Eva and Mother Stewart cooked a table full of dishes. Father Stewart, seeing James was a boy, even bought some Shaoyang Daqu liquor. There wasn't much good liquor in the countryside, so Shaoyang Daqu was already considered quite good.
At the dinner table, Father Stewart kept toasting James, while Auntie Eva continued to serve him food, leaving Helen Blair somewhat neglected.
Julie Williams grinned with her rice bowl by her side, her gaze shifting from Helen to James and back again, making Helen uneasy.
