The two tied ropes around their ankles and wrists, grasping the knots to mimic being bound. Just as they finished, the warehouse door was pulled open from the outside, and a black car drove in, followed by several gangsters. Helen Blair recognized some of them as her kidnappers.

Two of the criminals approached Helen and Oliver with threatening coldness, armed with long sticks.

Neither of them knew what was happening, holding their breath to stay quiet.

The car's windows were tightly shut, making it impossible to see inside. After turning off the engine, the car fell eerily silent, but Helen's intuition told her that someone was sitting inside, watching them.

The gang leader approached the car and tapped on the window. It was cracked open slightly, and the leader whispered something to the person inside. Then, their gaze shifted towards Helen and Oliver. Through the narrow opening, Helen could only see a pair of cold, sinister eyes.
