Helen Blair came out of the tea house and got into her car.
Old Man Albert asked her, "Miss, are we heading back to the company?"
Helen shook her head, "Uncle Albert, let's just drive around."
Old Man Albert nodded and started the car. He wanted to ask where to go, but when he looked into the rearview mirror, he saw Helen Blair's pale face. She was staring out the window without moving.
Seeing this, he didn't ask any more questions and drove onto the highway, wandering aimlessly.
He drove like this for over two hours, covering almost half of Bayspring, and Helen Blair kept staring out the window, her expression calm and desolate, unchanged throughout. Old Man Albert glanced at her occasionally, but her posture never changed.
After an unknown period, he heard Helen say softly, "It's been a long time since I've wandered like this. Bayspring is so beautiful now..."
"Miss, you should go out and take a walk more often," Old Man Albert said with a smile.
