Helen Blair stepped out, and the cold March night was still freezing. The cold wind cut into her face painfully. A few cherry blossoms bloomed quietly, with bits of petals swirling and dancing in the sky along with the cold wind, like snow filling the air, reminding her of that day.
She stood there, watching the petals in the sky absentmindedly, feeling a mixture of bitterness and sweetness in her heart...
Only when she heard Julie Williams calling her did she start to move. But as soon as she did, she stepped on something and fell to one knee.
It was as if a voice whispered in her ear, "What's wrong?"
Helen said softly, "My foot is numb..."
The voice went on, "Even if your leg was broken, it doesn't matter, as I would carry you anywhere..."
Helen looked around her and saw that the space was empty, without even half a person's shadow.
Her heart ached, but she held back her tears.
Slowly, she got up.
