-The Girl Showed Immense Courage-

On the Eisley's balcony, Louis stood beside Eisley, who was clad in her nightgown.

"This isn't a good question, Louis," Eisley muttered, her tone dismissive. "Why are you even asking this ridiculous question?"

"I want to know why you need to scare the girl on her first day here." Louis's voice rose, frustration evident in his tone. He gestured emphatically, his anger directed at his aunt for her unsettling behaviour.

Eisley snorted defiantly and declared, "Grandma told Olivia to, but I interjected because Olivia and Verena hadn't gotten used to each other yet. So, I took the opportunity to make your wife understand these simple yet difficult things."

She looked Louis directly in the eyes and continued, her voice firm, "If I let your stepmother treat her badly, would that have been okay with you then?"

"I helped you!" Eisley added, her words laced with frustration and an underlying sense of righteousness.
