Lafitte twirled his cane and, as always, spoke modestly, "The rumors about these pirates and our crew have been circulating quite a bit."
"It seems they spotted the captain's bounty, and that's what motivated them to become pirates."

Makino and the others exchanged puzzled glances. They couldn't grasp the situation. Who were these newcomers?
Josiah was the first to react, sensing an opportunity. He quickly turned to the young man at the forefront and addressed him respectfully.
"My lord, please save us!"
"I'm willing to pay a substantial sum if you can save us, and I implore you to assist us!"
"Thank you again, my lords!"
With that, he bowed respectfully to Ethan.
The three of them, seeing the gravity of the situation, swiftly followed Josiah's lead and bowed to Ethan.
"We beseech our lord to help us!"
With countless pirates outside and Kuro's prowess evident, their situation was dire. Makino and Kaya understood that without assistance, their fate was sealed.
"Money means nothing to me, and I don't care," Burgess sneered, his tone dismissive.
Law observed Kuro and spoke coldly, as usual, "Let's assess the situation. The tourists were killed by pirates, and then these pirates were killed by this individual."
"Judging by that, it seems like he's quite powerful."
Hawkins played cards with a detached expression. "From his appearance alone, he seems to have significant potential."
Van Augur tapped his gun against his shoulder, wearing a blank expression. "When he crosses paths with us, his fate is sealed."
Honey Queen observed Makino and Kaya, smiling, "What gentle girls don't worry; we're here to help you through these tough times."
Nami blinked her large eyes and smiled, "She is in danger, and she's reading a book; she's a book-loving girl."
Perona floated around, giggling, "In that case, let's have them join us I think they're both great candidates, Horohorohorohorohoro...."
At that moment, Kuro pushed his glasses again, casting a cold gaze at Ethan and the others. He spoke sternly, "You shouldn't be here."
"Now that you know the truth, I can't let you leave alive."
"Shakushi!"With a loud bang, Kuro vanished in an instant, his presence untraceable.
Seeing such extraordinary speed, Makino and the others were once again astonished. With Kuro's speed, defeating them would have been effortless.

"I hope they can defeat this scoundrel!" Josiah watched Ethan and the others with hopeful anticipation.
Kaya regarded the young man in black and whispered to Makino, "Sister Makino, do you find that man in black mysterious?"
Makino nodded gently and smiled warmly, "Yes, you can tell he's still keeping his hands in his pockets and doesn't seem nervous at all."
"His strength is evident and quite impressive."
Melly looked at Makino curiously and asked, "Why are you so sure?"
Makino brushed her dark green hair back, blinked her beautiful eyes, and smiled, "Because I've encountered someone like him before, and he was just as composed."
"Very impressive speed," Lafitte commented as he twirled his cane, taking a step forward. He spoke politely, "Dealing with someone like you doesn't require the captain's involvement."
"Unfortunately, no matter how fast you are, without Haki, your strength will always lag."With those words, he swiftly swiped his cane to the left.
"What!!"Kuro had moved to Lafitte's left, ready to strike with his cat's claw, but he suddenly found himself under attack.
Before he could react, he was sent flying with a powerful blow.
With a whooshing sound, Lafitte closed the distance to Kuro instantly, offering a faint smile. "I apologize, even though you're quite fast."
"Compared to me, you still have a long way to go."
Without waiting for Kuro's response, Lafitte pointed his cane at his neck, maintaining his usual courteous demeanor.
"Join us, and you'll become stronger. Otherwise, today will be your last day."
As they watched Lafitte's actions, Ajin spoke with a cold expression, "As expected of the deputy captain; his reaction time and speed are top-notch."
Hawkins remained poker-faced and commented calmly, "Being appointed deputy captain is no small feat."
Doc Q grinned strangely and said, "Only 20 more days... and that position will be mine."
Witnessing Kuro's defeat, Makino and the others were utterly shocked. Kuro was already remarkably fast, but this white-clad man had proven even faster.

"I observed him earlier, and he hasn't uttered a word or shown any change in expression. He always seems composed."
"What a mysterious young man!"
Melly agreed with a nod and said, "From what you've said, this captain must be incredibly strong."
Finally, Josiah smiled and expressed her relief, saying, "It seems we're safe now. It's been quite an ordeal."
Kuro, however, pushed his glasses up, seemingly unfazed by the previous events. He inquired calmly, "I'd like to know, just how strong is your captain?"
He was a brilliant man with an exceptionally high IQ, and he recognized that he was no match for the white-clad man.
If they continued to fight, he would undoubtedly be defeated.
"Very strong, exceptionally so," Lafitte replied politely as he put away his cane. "The captain's true strength has always been a mystery."
"Even he doesn't know how strong he truly is."
"Alright, one final invitation: would you like to join us?"
Kuro retracted his cat's paw and spoke calmly, "Considering the captain's formidable strength, joining your crew is the wisest choice."
"After all, I'm still quite young, and I'd rather not meet my end so soon."

"This guy is pretty good; I recognize you, Wiiihahahaha..." Burgess threw up his arms and laughed.
Law holding kikoku spoke coldly, "We have a new member. It seems the competition is fierce."

At that moment, Baccarat turned to the four newcomers and said with a smile, "Makino, Kaya, welcome to join us."

Doc Q's eyes darkened as he glanced at Gin, Van Augur, and Kuro before offering an ugly smile. "Now, there are three individuals without abilities."

Law gazed at Hawkins, speaking coldly, "Our luck has been consistently good."
Hawkins nodded in agreement, speaking softly, "The team's strength has been steadily increasing, which is undoubtedly a good sign."
At this moment, Josiah looked at Kaya with a gentle smile, a doting look in his eyes.
"Kaya, now that you've joined them, I hope they'll help you become stronger."
