It's been a good time but now is the time that we say goodbye to this Volume as the Finale is here with us followed by an Epilogue later.

Also, I've split this into 2 for your sanity and mine because the original doc was over 18k words, hands down my longest and now enjoy as part 2 will come out end of october.

Thank you, viewer, for sticking with this book for all these CHP your comments and votes were gladly appreciated. Let the battle commence.

In the cold dark vacuum of space lay a pale blue dot.

This blue marble in the infinite darkness shone with a constant bright light, and it was on this marble that humanity started.

Earth was the name given to the rocky planet, and she was the cradle of mankind, she watched as man started from humble beginnings from living in caves to starting an industrial revolution.

She bore witness to 3 world wars; nukes being blown on her crust and the millions of lives that were lost when humans fought each other and finally when they fought the sirens.

Humans can never be at peace for long.

They fight, they kill, they morn and make peace, but this is a cycle that repeats itself endlessly.

That's why so many people say,

War never changes, no matter the era.

Unless humanity unites under one common enemy, is when they will throw away their differences all for the sake of surviving.

Humanity united under one banner to fight the sirens, through the hard work of many people and the sacrifice of their kansens they were able to vanquish the sirens or at least that's what they thought.

Lastly, Earth watched as humanity grew to the point they could leave her safe hands and head out into the stars, to spread to new planets and colonise them.

Now Earth boar witness as another fight took place but this time it was in the cold dark vacuum of the surrounding space, but this time there was another protector to shield humanity against its enemies. One who bears the burdens from her previous life.

Low Earth Orbit

In the silent, weightless expanse of Low Earth Orbit, the remnants of hundreds of siren ships floated in the empty expanse of the earth.

Hundreds of Siren shipwrecks drifted aimlessly, their sleek, alien hulls now twisted and shattered. Some ships were split cleanly in half, their inner workings exposed to the vacuum of space, while others had gaping holes where the relentless assault had torn away once-impenetrable armour. Flickering lights and sputtering energy fields around the wrecks were the only signs of their former power, now reduced to lifeless debris.

Yet, the battle was far from over. Seven giant siren portals sparked to life again as they stood as gateways to the siren controlled space. From these rifts in space, even more, Siren ships surged forth, their numbers seemingly endless.

The ships moved forward with precision, their hulls pushing through any debris that blocked its path. Their reduced numbers were filled in less than a minute with excess ships being added to the armada.

The sight would be akin to a tsunami wave, they looked endless in numbers and the devastation they could bring to humanity was enormous but humanity had a barrier to protect them from this force.

They were the loyal fighters of the Sakura Empire.

Currently, their numbers took a hit as some ships were rendered combat ineffective and toyed to the nearby spaceport for Sakura Empire, these ships were hastily being repaired by the crew on the station who stayed rather than flee to the planet to escape the danger like other crew.

The kansens were falling back as the sirens pushed forward, this was not a full blown retreat but rather a tactful retreat to regroup and reposition badly needed ships.

The sirens seeing the opportunity took it as hundreds of turrets opened fire, for the kansens it seemed like their whole view was filled with those pink beams.

Before the sirens' attack could do any real damage the missile launchers from the Ginga and Yamato opened up as bubble shields were launched from each launcher followed by another set of missiles.

These missiles raced across the black expanse of space, their solid fuel leaving a trail of gas behind them, once they reached the designated position a blue light emerged from the warhead as the bubble shields kicked in making a 100-metre circular wave motion shield appear.

More of these appeared across the direction of these beams, the AIs showing their might as they predicted each beam's path.

For the kansens of Sakura Empire, the shields were a shock to them with some doubting that such a small shield with an unknown energy could block all of those beams soon the few kansens doubting were shocked as the beams impacted the bubble shields causing a bright light as the wave motion energy reacted with the siren energy.

Some optics had due to reset to the intensity of this light but in the end, the shields held their own and now the counterattack was on.

The Yamato and other battleships powered down their engines as their RCS moved the battleships into a broadside position.

The massive 480 mm main guns of the Yamato swivelled around with a slight hum from its motors, once in position they locked in place as the barrels were raised to meet the enemy with their full might, her secondaries also locked onto the sirens as a deep blue glow filled their barrels.

"All Battleships, Open Fire!" Nagato's commanding voice ordered through the fleet comms.

One by One the battleships fired their salvos with most choosing to focus on the cruisers and destroyers since their guns couldn't penetrate the thick shielding of the siren Battleships and that was the job of Yamato.

Her hull shook as her main and secondary turrets opened up, a loud crack resonating throughout the ship as her blue positron beams tore through the space before striking the enemy and gutting them apart some beams even got triple or quadruple kills due to the antimatter slicing through the sirens like butter.

For the battleships, she didn't want to let one live past 1 round thus for every battleship fired upon the 3 positron beams would circle each other before condensing into one beam and tearing through the battleships with some resistance but their puny shields couldn't match the destructive power of anti-matter.

Her vents for her missiles blew out a column of smoke as her missiles were launched, each with their target and the warhead containing a special energy that is wave motion energy.

A few moments later multiple bright blue balls filled the space around the targeted siren ships and when the light dispersed a view of tens of ships sunk by one missile could be seen showing just how much wave motion energy was packed into the warheads.

The other ship girls couldn't help but be in awe in the battleship as wherever her turrets pointed death and destruction were assured and that level of power caught their eyes as her turrets continued to spit out positron beams in a continuous stream.

However, the point defence of multiple battleships opened up as multiple siren missiles were shot down but some still punched through the hail of lasers and smacked into the hull of the battleships, for the kansens they ate 1 or 2 missiles due to their reliable LWS (Laser Weapons Systems).

Yamato on the other hand ate 3 to 4 missiles due to her lacking point defence as seen in her past battles against Gamilas and Gatalantis.

To add on top of their problems, their radar soon detected multiple siren fighters flanking them from multiple directions but they planned for this.

Multiple squadrons of aircraft soon passed the battleships as they were on an intercept mission with these hostile aircraft. The squadrons consisted of the latest Sakura Empires fighters known as the Wonder Flake SF-27. [Refer to Chapter 5].

Their dual thrusters burned with full power as they closed the distance rapidly, and their bay doors opened as each fighter launched 2 long range missiles as soon as they got a lock, the fighter at that point split with some going up, down and to their flanks to catch those sirens that were trying to evade the missiles.

The sirens each broke formation and started deploying countermeasures for these missiles but these missiles were smart and still tracked the siren fighter jets with only a few falling for the countermeasures this led to the fighters from the Sakura Empire having a very high kill count.

Those siren fighters that evaded the missiles were soon forced to defend from a second volley of missiles and soon when the Sakura Fighters were in gun range the siren fighters were mostly decimated and they easily picked them off.

The fighters which were low on ammo returned to their respective carriers which were sitting comfortably at the very back launching fighters and the occasional missiles to support the battleships.

On the supercarrier, Shinano, Cosmo Tiger 1 and Tiger 2 with other Sakura fighters were seen being lifted from her hangar and set onto the deck where they prepared to launch.

Shinano was in the bridge keeping an eye on the launch and coordination of her fighters and another eye on the battlefield sending a missile barrage when needed.

An officer manjuu walked up to the kansen before handing her a data tablet and then proceeded to stand there staring at her with its black eyes, creepily in Shinano's opinion.

Her blue eyes glowed in the screen light as she read its contents before giving back to the manjuu who collapsed it into something his small wings could carry.

Her tails flickered as she digested the contents, her wary eyes looked onto her deck seeing the numerous amounts of planes that still needed to take off to keep air superiority in the space around them but her mind soon returned to the contents of the data tablet which was a written emergency transmission.

"This is Epsilon 11 we need immediate support to our location, the sirens have intensified their attack on the city, please!"

This wasn't the only one as there were many more that were similar, each requesting help not knowing that the bases they were requesting help from were also in a tight spot.

Shinano knew what she needed to do as a squadron Tiger 2's taxied to electromagnetic catapults, their engines warming up as they tested their flaps and ailerons.

She looked at the officer Manjuu with a decisive look as she spoke, "Delay the launch of fighters headed for the fleet and prioritize all catapults for the fighters destined for the Earth, make it quick."

The little duck chirped doing a salute with its wing before rushing to relay this order to its fellow ducks.

In a few moments, her flight deck was ablaze with activity as planes rushed to get their loadout and launch. Those Tiger 2's on the catapults were locked in place as their dual engines spooled up fully making a blue cone appear on its exhaust as it prepared for launch.

In just a few seconds the plane was zipped by the catapult and launched into space it moved into a holding position for its squadron to launch before pointing its nose to the planet Earth.

Each squadron of fighters was designated its city and important site to defend since Shinano was basically a small airbase she had the capacity to hold a small national air force if need be. That's why she was hailed as the only supercarrier that was a kansen.

Shinano could only watch as fighters quickly lined into the catapult before launching to defend the humans that were stuck on the earth with little to no help against an endless army.

Her eyes were soon drawn to the battle between the battleships and her sharp eyes could see the bright blue lances from the Yamato gutting into the enemy, a small smile was plastered on her face as she watched the carnage unfold.

Back to the Battleships, we can see them inching forward as their engines powered on but at a low setting. This was all according to the plan as Yamato's main guns fired again but this time instead of a positron round being fired solid shells were blasted into the siren Armada.

The point defence on the sirens tried to destroy it but the speed of the shell was simply too fast for it to track properly and soon that came to bite back at the sirens as a bright blue glow filled their windows before a chain of explosions rocked multiple ships sinking them by the immense amount of energy produced by Yamato's wave motion shells.

At this point, you might wonder, where did all the cruisers and destroyers go?

Those guys had been assigned a special operation in which only their speed and agility could save them.

Above the encroaching sirens, a blue light glowed in the vast darkness before multiple blue lights filled the space. Looking closer we could see the bright glint of metal as the stealthy cruisers and destroyers made their appearance right on top of the enemy.

The sirens, detecting their presence, rotated on their axis to give their guns the needed line of fire but it was already too late.

Pillars of smoke shot out of the cruisers and destroyers as their frontal main guns opened fire sending dark blue beams into the siren ships.

The sirens point defence managed to shoot a good number of missiles but the sheer number was simply too much and overwhelmed the point defence leading to many missiles hitting true and damaging the enemy.

The kansens dark blue beams damaged the sirens but due to the shields on most ships most rounds were simply dispersed by the shield but that didn't stop them from constantly firing as they closed the gap quickly.

Some siren ships tried to rotate fully to charge at the incoming Sakura Empire cruisers and Destroyers but they were ultimately stopped by a bright blue positron beam that sliced through their hull like butter.

Looking at the battleships we could see that they had transitioned to a spearhead formation with Yamato leading the charge with her deadly weaponry and armour. Apart from the battleships, squadrons of fighters that had rearmed and repaired passed the battleships on their flanks as they prepared to strike again.

The sirens were hopelessly stuck in a pincer attack formulated by Lady Nagato who proudly showed her prowess in battle tactics even when the odds were stacked against them.

As the battle continued in space, on the Earth it was a different story as most defence forces were being forced into a retreat due to the sheer number of troops and armour the sirens were throwing at them but the defenders weren't just letting it happen, for every inch of ground the sirens took they made sure the sirens would pay dearly for it.

Location: Washington

Explosions rocked the capital of the land of freedom and democracy.

The city was bathed in thick smoke and orange fires as the defenders fought valiantly to protect it.

Siren ships loomed over the capital as they gave support from their deadly weapons. Ground units were launched from special ships and fighters were launched from carriers, all in all, the defence was screwed big time but they never gave up.

This was their homeland and they would make the sirens pay dearly for every inch of land they took.

"Contact! 2 clicks out moving fast" A soldier shouted over the comms making the squadron tense up.

Currently, the defence side was waiting out the saturation strikes launched by the sirens all while patiently waiting for reinforcements to arrive.

The last transmission they got was that they were 10 minutes out, which meant it would be 10 minutes of hell for them.

"Ready up!" the squadron commander shouted as his members moved into position.

Through their sights, they could see a huge dust cloud and the ominous glow from siren tanks and robotic infantry. This sight made some of the men feel a drop in morale.

The commander noticed this but didn't do anything as he too was losing hope at this immense threat. In their arsenal, they had a few tanks in position with some missile and mortar launchers further behind the defence.

Another quake shook them as the city was once again struck by missiles and pink beams, decimating the once beautiful city.

"1 Click out!" another call was made as they observed the sirens come closer and closer.

The only disadvantage the sirens had was that they were fighting in human territory and this would cost them dearly.

As soon as the first tanks passed the 1 km a signal was sent to the silent killers in the ground beneath them. These killers were mines but they weren't your regular ones these were packed to the brim with matter plus anti-matter and only a special seal separated them and this seal was broken by the instructions in the signal.

In a matter of seconds, the land the sirens were driving over expanded out before a blinding white light erupted followed by a massive shockwave of destruction and freedom. This was but one of the few inventions this humanity created.

"The trap is set! Repeat the trap is set!" the codename was sent off the radio as the defence team was now in full offence mode.

Tanks fired off antimatter shells that decimated other tanks and ships that flew too close.

The infantry unloaded their bullets onto siren infantry that evaded the blast.

Explosions rocked the sirens as their units were being decimated by freedom and explosives but it won't be sirens if they didn't fight unfairly.

A large pink portal appeared above the battlefield as a battleship and some escort ships emerged out. Their armaments trained upon the marines before letting loose salvos of death and destruction.

A few rounds hit these ships but they weren't strong enough to tear them down as the ships continued their onslaught.

"Fall Back! Fall Back" A command was issued on the comms as marines, tanks and other units retreated while firing back at the enemy.

For every tank put out of action, 5 tanks on the siren's side were lost.

"The gates of hell have opened" another special command was issued to another unit that was put further away from the action.

A deep rumble sounded through the area as pillars of smoke rose from a hidden spot. Even more, pillars were seen in the distance as more than 500 missiles were launched combined with mortar shells from other units.

When these landed it was like resembled hell, the landscape was broken apart from the shear amount of antimatter lobbed at the sirens even the ships were hit by some with the escorts being taken down but the battleship continued strong as its shields tanked most of the damage but some explosions did pass through and rip its hull making it billow smoke from various places.

The civilians inside various bunkers could feel the quakes from the explosions reach them as the battle picked up with reinforcements arriving from various bases and it being a mix of fighters and older combat ships.

Even with the added help the number of sirens pouring in from the portals was simply overwhelming. The defence team soon found themselves in a pickle as their numbers were being gunned down faster than they could kill.

It truly seemed like the end of them until explosions suddenly sounded in the air. Looking up they could see the siren ships that were giving them a huge headache were being blown up one after the other.

They knew that those strikes weren't theirs as most of their forces had stretched their ammo thin but now someone else was helping them defend the capital.

"Tally, Tally, tally! unknown crafts, 12 o'clock high coming down fast." one of the surviving fighters sounded as their HUD displayed a new contact break through the cloud layer.

The pilot moved to intercept them but noticed that the unknown fighter at the front was firing their missiles at the sirens and not them.

"Goose to everyone, new contacts are friendly, repeat new contacts are friendly." The pilot broke away as the new fighters levelled out.

The planes at the front were none other than the glorious Tiger 2, the best fighter in EDF's arsenal in 2202, following closely was none other than their version of the A-10 which is the Tiger 1.

This composition of fighters continued to plummet with the Tiger 2's peeling off to deal with the ships while the Tiger 2's remained on the course for the ground units before letting loose their payloads of cluster munition.

Those siren units that weren't killed in the carpet bombing were killed when the Tiger 1 fired its 2 positron canons.

Similarly, across the world a similar event was being played as each city was saved by a squadron of tigers 1's and 2's or even Sakuran fighters launched from the mighty Shinano which grouped up with the Sakuran carriers, her presence boosted the morale of the carriers as having a supercarrier is the best.

It wasn't only the Sakuran kansens who were in awe with the Yamato, those who had access to the broadcast of the battle were shocked by the Argo's sheer power and this silenced the voices that still argued that Iowa could beat the Argo.

Now more people were glued to their screens as they watched the battle unfold with excitement at what this new fleet can do.

But it wasn't just humanity that was getting interested in this battle, in the siren-controlled subspace a face could be seen smiling devilishly at a screen showing the Argo leading the charge with other battleships.

"So, the time for a rematch is upon us, Yamato," The siren said as she left to prepare for a battle she craved so much.

A blue light lit her eyes as she disappeared into the hallways.

On board the Argo, Yamato kept track of the battle intently as her hull resonated with every round fired from her shock canons.

Her eyes looked forward into the siren armada that continued to pour out from the portals their numbers seemingly endless, the sight painfully reminded her of war in her past and she didn't want to use her final card if things went south, the sheer power it brought to the table was immense and if used unwisely could lead to her death since it breaks her Wave Motion Gun in the process.

A beep sounded from the console as her eyes looked at the warning issued from her engine, the graph of its energy production showed an abnormal fluctuation in energy levels as if something was eating it up.

Yamato simply ignored the warning as she grimaced at the memory of her receiving her delayed reward for killing the Queen of Chaos which was indicated as a hidden impossible mission.

She wished she never opened up the reward, she wished she could destroy it but it was already in her engine before she could process it, suddenly she was thrusted back into the vivid memory of the war against Gatalantis, the dead bodies, the destruction of hundreds of ships and the extinction of humanity as she knew.

A quake in her hull brought her out of those memories as she quickly assessed the situation which was an explosion at her bow due to some missiles breaking through her point defence making her slightly more jealous of the kansens who had LWS.

She never wanted to use it as she still remembered vividly the sheer power that weapon had and never wanted to use it again.

But for her not to resort to using it, she needed backup as she was still at a disadvantage in terms of numbers and firepower that's why she sent her little demons to go and get reinforcements.

Change in POV: Combined Fleet Kansens

The admiral could gladly say that they were screwed, not only were they positioned in the wrong place they had gathered all their forces apart from Sakura Empire, who wanted to protect Japan, in one spot where the energy reading was building up.

They fell for the bait, hook line and sinker.

The admiral mainly blamed himself for that wrong command but now he had bigger problems to solve which were the current siren forces headed by Purifier and Tester blocking them from supporting the Sakura Empire who were heavily outnumbered and outgunned.

But even with their full force, they couldn't break through as the sirens were continuously pouring out of portals meaning for every 2 they kill 4 take its spot.

He badly wished for any sort of help to arrive which wasn't normal for him to do but just this once he needed a saviour and true to his word a saviour did come in the form of cosmic tipped missiles.

Explosions rocked the sirens throwing them into chaos as their Automatic defence system fired on the missiles while also dealing a lot of friendly fire to the nearby ships.

Purifier and Tester weren't spared as each ate about 10 or more missiles but they managed to intercept most of them, the rest blocked with their shields but a few did manage to bypass all these obstacles and smack directly into them.

Each side was shocked by these events and each soon found out that it came from a squadron of Tiger 2's and Tiger 1's.

Each fighter was throttled to the max closing the distance quickly as they soon fired a second barrage before peeling off from the battleground as even bigger and more potent missiles whizzed past them.

The sirens this time were better prepared and intercepted most of the missiles but the result was a big smoke screen that interfered with their radar.

Thus, they were caught off guard when 8 dark blue positron beams streaked through the smoke before gutting apart some 10 unfortunate destroyers.

Purifier knew those beams all too well and felt giddy for another battle with the empress but what came through confused her.

2 cruisers blasted through the smoke as their main guns rotated to the left and right before firing another salvo, each beam tearing through any unshielded target and damaging those ships that had shields.

The cruisers throttled to combat speed 2 as they closed the distance quickly. Some siren ships fired back but their shots barely missed the cruisers who in turn let out another salvo from their main guns while their VLS cells opened up as around 80 missiles launched from each ship.

The result was another chain of reactions that sunk more than a handful of enemy ships.

Purifier and Tester quickly moved in to eliminate the unknown ships, they used their small form to dodge beams from the cruiser's main guns and even their phoenix turrets which shocked them due to its high rate of fire.

The agile sirens were now a hundred metres from the ship and were about to launch a deadly which would be devasting at such close ranges but before they could fire the 2 cruisers erupted into dark blue cubes.

This sight shocked both the siren and Ship girls who had thought that this was a normal combat ship. The dark blue cubes condensed at the centre to form a deadly pair of riggings that glowed in the dark.

The newly formed turrets locked onto the sirens as their barrels glowed with a dark blue hue before letting out a salvo from their dual barrels. The rounds sailed through space as they spun around before condensing into one beam which in total was 4.

Due to the small distance, the humanoid siren didn't have much time to dodge leading to some of their rigging getting clipped by the rounds.

Tester at that point didn't want to close the distance as she levelled her guns to one of the cruisers who had brown hair. 6 accurate beams closed the distance only to be dispersed by a potent shield.

Tester readjusted her aim only for bright blue beams to fill her vision forcing her to dodge them as Oicchi's Phoenix turrets kicked into action, their high rate of fire shocking Tester who couldn't get any room to fire meanwhile Oicchi was closing the gap quickly as her sword formed in her hands.

Meanwhile Purifier was being pressed hard by a black haired kitsune.

No matter how fast she moved the kansen would always match her allowing the cruiser to fire her phoenix turrets into Purifier who was shocked at its high rate of fire.

On top of that Kitakami fired her missiles as she moved forward to close the gap, her sword manifesting in her hand. Purifier sensed the missiles coming and opened up with her point defence but before the missiles could come close to her, they all exploded blocking her vision with a thick layer of smoke.

Purifier was on edge as she didn't know where the kansen would appear from thus she decided to escape while she could but before she could move her radar picked up a fast moving object closing in on her and when her eyes looked in that direction, they could only see a sword engulfed in dark blue flames before it slashed her side leaving a deep wound.

The pain made Purifier get angry as her lasers charged up before releasing a charged up round as her concentrated lasers smacked into Kitakami's shield and pushing her back and giving her enough space to escape.

Purifier managed to meet up with Tester who was also not doing too good and the both of them entered into a portal as they each felt scared of those 2 cruisers.

Kitakami sighed as she watched the 2 sirens escape through a portal, she wanted to badly chase after them but she had a mission to complete and that takes priority over chasing them.

Kitakami looked back at the combined fleet and is somewhat shocked at their ability to hold their ground. Due to her memories of the old Azur Lane, she had thought that the fleet would have been worse off but the sight before her was a fleet that was survivng and pushing through the blockade.

Her eyes slowly looked at the different kansens before focusing on the new Pulsar ships. Her short scans revealed a more potent energy than that of the normal Neutron ships.

"Singularity, mark those new ships for later scanning something fishy is going on here." Kitakami said as Singularity marked the ships.

"Roger"

Now both Kitakami and Oicchi stayed in their position for a while before changing their heading and moving to help the Sakurans in their defence but not without giving the combined fleet a message.

The admiral couldn't help but in awe at these 2 cruisers who had just changed the situation from being dire to them being saved. He couldn't forget the scene when the cruisers went head to head with Purifier and Tester and singlehandedly forced them to retreat. That feat alone was something difficult unless it was a small fleet for them.

"Enterprise," Admiral asked over the comms, "do those kansens seem familiar to you."

"No sir, nor do are they registered in the Azur Lane database," Enterprise answered before looking at the disappearing forms of those 2 cruisers, "However, they did give us a chance to go and help the front lines. We should move right away less we get bogged down by siren forces again."

"You're right Enterprise," the admiral points to the comms officer, "Order all the ships to move forward, flank speed."

In a few moments the whole fleet was in motion with the Azur Lane ships detaching and going ahead of the human ships, the kansens already in rigging form as they made a dash for the front lines.

Meanwhile with the Sakurans,

Their earlier aggressive counter attack worked perfectly and they decimated the sirens, however, before they could solidify their positions and make the sirens bleed as they tried to encroach that position the sirens had more tricks up their sleeve.

The cruisers and destroyers now emerged with the battleships to form a line formation as they launched every armament, they had at the sirens with some rounds even going into the portals and destroying the sirens as they were emerging from it.

Yamato felt an odd feeling as her ship continued to decimate the sirens, the feeling never passed even as they were moving to hold onto the position they took, it all just felt ...

Too easy.

Alarms blared in the bridge as intense energy readings were being recorded behind them.

"Analyser, report," Yamato asked as the screen above her powered to life as multiple small objects were seen on the screen.

"Detecting multiple space time distortions, most likely cosmic portals being opened. Counting more than 10 portals opening, even more are in the process of opening."

This report immediately sent Yamato into a frenzy as the bow thrusters on the Yamato fired on full blast shifting it till its bow pointed towards the Earth.

"Flank speed, analyser send the report to the all ships!"

The Yamato moved forward with urgency as the rest of the fleet quickly broke away from attacking the main siren forces and focusing on defending the carriers from this surprise attack.

But the sirens still weren't done.

Another warning sounded on the bridge as analyser spoke up again.

"More space-time fluctuations dead ahead"

More cosmic portals opened up as battleships and heavy cruisers emerged ready to duke it out with the attack force.

From the other side light cruisers and destroyers as well as squadrons of siren fighters emerged to deal with the pesky carriers.

The frontal guns on the Yamato immediately opened up damaging some battleships but not knocking them out as they charged into the attack force.

Missiles launched as they streaked into the incoming sirens exploding with a blinding white light.

The window on the bridge immediately darkened as most optical sensors shut down to avoid getting broken by the bright light.

Yamato used her final round of wave motion tipped missiles before switching to regular missiles so that she avoids friendly fire.

As soon the light diminished a small smoke screen still persisted around the destroyed area. Even as the attack force charged forward there was still a radar contact within it and to smoke it out, she decided to use some force.

Her frontal turrets swivelled to the left a few degrees before opening fire as 6 positron rounds condensed into 2 powerful beams that plunged into the smoke.

A bright explosion occured in the smoke screen making it disperse outwards and in the end the radar contact disappeared certainly being destroyed by her main guns or at least that's what she thought.

Warnings appeared on her consle as klaxons filled the bridge all due to a massive energy fluctuation right in front of her.

A burst of blue light caught her attention as an energy beam seemingly from nowhere was on a collision course with her ship.

Before she could come up with an order her shields were already on as a blue light covered her bow mere seconds before a bright light exploded from the bow of her ship as her wave motion energy clashed with the unknown energy.

Her shields were able to last as they have taken far worse punishment from different enemies but her sheild was the least of her worriers as her radio picked up a signal that was open for everybody to hear.

"Yamato good to see you again," an ominous voice rang out through the com link a voice which Yamato remembers all too well, "let's take the fight elsewhere where there's no distraction."

Yamato's eyes widen as the bridge was bathed in red light, klaxons blaring and warning messages appearing all across her consle.

Outside, time and space were being distorted all around her ship as it all bent to form a cosmic portal beneath her ship. The aft section was the first to be pulled in as her bow was the only thing seen, her ship was being pulled into the portal by an immense gravity.

"No, no ,no! I won't leave her again" her ships core overclocked itself as all her available energy was directed to her engines slowling down her pull but she could never get enough thrust to pull her out.

Yamato grit her teeth as the screen showed the last view of the carriers, explosions occuring around the undefended carriers as they tried to dodge in their rigging form.

With her bow sinking into the closing portal her system went haywire but she was able to receive one last communication that was the sound of Shinano and Ginga both shouting her name.

The space around her turned pitch black for a while as Yamato shut down her main engine, allowing her to be pulled without resistance.

Soon her surroundings grew brighter until she found herself in a blue coloured space.

Her ship immediately disintegrated into thousands of golden cubes before they all combined into her overpowered rigging.

Yamato sighed as her eyes burned with a red glow showing that she was pissed off and to further cement the fact.

[Notice, last hope is active: all positron rounds are now transit positron rounds.]

[limit Breaker is active: Damage inflicted has been increased by 40%]

[balance breaker is active: all sword skills have transitioned to their final form]

Whatever was going to be on the end of her guns is going to have a very bad day and even worse because her anger wouldn't really be quenched by a few kills no her anger would only be quenched unless she takes the life of a certain enemy.

As soon as her radar pinged multiple ships here attention was immediately drawn to them as her turrets immediately acquired a lock.

Her eyes searched that group for a specific target but she wasn't there making her anger boil as her turrets let loose firing 15 transit rounds that sailed through this unknown space before decimating the incoming sirens.

A golden after glow was left in the explosion, she continued to search the space around her but her scans brought her nothing and this ticked her off even more.

If the person wasn't going to come for then she's going to break herself out.

A familiar rifle appeared in her hands as she aimed for the weakest point in the space around her.

Raise wave motion engine pressure. Close emergency valves.

Her heart started to beat faster as her wave motion enrgy was redirected to her WMG.

Open wave motion gun outlet. Engine pressure at 20%

Her eyes changed to a light blue glow as her heart continued to beat faster making her energy readings go through the roof. A yellow glow could be seen in front of her rifle as an increasing beep could be heard from her rifle.

However, before she could complete her break out the fun police arrived.

Yamato's eyes widened as her sensors picked up a space-time rupture beside her. Before she knew what was going on a hand was already forcing her rifle down. Other systems recorded an odd reading as the energy building up in her WMG was being drained by an unknown force.

"I don't think you need to use that," Yamato's glowing red eyes clashed with the glowing blue eyes of the one and only Arbiter.

Her simile never left her face as her rigging materialized around her, "Let's take the fight elsewhere, this space is too small for that."

Yamato's eyes widened as her core registered an unknown drop in energy levels before prematurely shutting down to avoid any damage to her engine. With her core shutting down Yamato soon lost consciousness as her backup power came online barely keeping her systems running.

Arbiter looked at Yamato as she floated in her dimension, the Nanomachines seemingly doing their job perfectly. She smiled as a portal opened next to her.

She looked into the portal before grabbing Yamato and bringing her to finish the fight somewhere quiet.

Low Earth Orbit

"Sister!" one Ginga yelled as she desperately overclocked her engines to make it before it was too late but she was doomed to fail due to the large distance separating them.

She felt useless again.

Ginga, the second ship of the Yamato class couldn't use her main guns due to her stupid pacifist Cosmo reverse.

She badly wished she could fight but whatever soul was last in her cosmo reverse restricted her and it pissed her off. Sometimes she wished she could just remove it and fight but every time the decision was made her crew opted to keep it.

"Come on!" Ginga yelled as she tried to force her main guns to fire but received no reaction.

Warnings beeped in her head as missiles closed in on her position.

"Dammit!" her main engine spooled up as her AA desperately tried to shoot down the missiles only for her comms to crack up as she was receiving a call from the one and only Nagato

"Ginga, can I entrust you to go support the carriers" Nagato said as the sound of explosions could be heard in the background. Ginga looked wearily at the attack force being assaulted with capital ships aided by heavy cruisers and the odd fighter.

Ginga was stuck between a rock and a hard place luckily Nagato knew what to do.

"Your sister needs support, help her, we'll break through and meet up with you guys later."

In the battlefield, questions waste precious time for action thus Ginga throttled her engine to full power as she headed towards the carriers who were in desperate need of help.

Shinano POV

A blue glow filled her eyes as looked at the ever increasing number of enemy ships hunting them down. Behind her, we could see multiple wrecks of siren ships that were destroyed by her but not without her sustaining an injury to her head and arms making blood float out of the wounds since there was no gravity.

Her rigging had seen better days due to her defending against most ships as they were directed towards her but her thick armour was able to tank most rounds that punched through her shields which were depleted by that point.

She lost 4 catapults but that didn't impede her as she was already low on aircraft. Her missiles were mostly spent as she only had 20 left.

The odds were stacked against her but that was nothing new in her book, in all her different lives she was always being outclassed and outmatched by everyone but in this life, she had the chance to show everyone that she's better, that she could be useful for once.

Shinano tightened the grip on her sword as it glowed a pale blue colour, her reactor energy circulating through it as she looked at the rest of the carriers who were somewhat holding their ground as she could see Akagi's and Kaga's red and blue fire jets maintain air superiority.

She smiled before locking her sights on a new foe that emerged at the gates, their lifeless eyes stared directly into hers. She knew for sure that this was one of the humanoid clones, but the only problem was that she didn't know which type it was and this put her on edge.

Before she could think of a way to attack the siren was already on the offensive as she launched herself at Shinano who only had enough time to dodge but the siren simply used its RCS to spin her foot into Shinano's side sending her tumbling a good distance before she controlled herself.

Carriers were terrible in agility and she knew that but this siren wasn't giving her any opening to use her sword as she continuously pressed Shinano who used her Close range Weapons system to damage her whenever she got too close but the amount of damage done was small.

To make matters worse for her even more of these clones started appearing with some firing lasers and others carrying blades. The situation was not looking good for her as she finally had to use her remaining missiles to create space and damage some sirens severely but it wasn't enough to change the battle in her favour.

Shinano at this point was on her last legs as her rigging was billowing smoke from the various cuts and burns that were done on it, her flight deck was rendered impossible to use as well as a few decks suffered a drop in pressure as the air was sucked into the vacuum of space.

Her body was littered with multiple wounds all gushing out blood that formed spheres in space. Her sword had seen better days as it was starting to crack under the pressure of blocking the blows from those sirens. Lastly, her armaments were all but destroyed making missiles and incoming solid rounds have a field day with her.

Shinano knew that this battle was a losing one but all her routes for escaping were blocked or too risky, she thought that that would be the end for her but fate had more planes in store for her.

"Sister! Cover your eyes" A voice yelled at her through the comms.

Shinano was confused for a few moments until she sensed multiple missiles converging on her location, her surviving radar doing its job. She had no other choice but to believe as she shut her eyes and braced herself.

In a few moments, she felt her dark world turn bright as the light intensity was strong enough to get through her eyelids and moments later her whole body was rocked by multiple shockwaves that shook her to her keel and her surviving sensors recorded an outside temperature close to that of the sun.

After the onslaught of heat, the light dimmed down making her open her eyes only for them to feast on the mangled corpses of the clone sirens.

She stood in shock for a while as she since a missile barrage managed to wipe out the clones that were giving her a huge problem, her radar pinged a ship closing in fast and this made her go slightly defensive but when her blue eyes met golden eyes she instantly softened as her sister flew right into her not even bothering to slow down as they both hugged each other while they were spinning.

When they hugged some of Ginga's forward momentum was turned to rotational thus they were both moving forward while spinning in the cold dark space.

As Ginga broke the hug and stabilised them multiple squadrons of black Cosmo zeros flew past them as they headed to support the other carriers.

Ginga's expression turned broken as she viewed the multiple wounds and damages that Shinano sustained. Her barges deployed as some quick repair work was done but her anger was boiling under her skin, they took Yamato and now they damaged Shinano.

"Sister," Ginga started as she looked at Shinano while sometimes looking at the other active battlefields, "let's first go and support the carriers from there we go and merge with the attack force."

Shinano could only smile at her sister," Sure, but let's go after my emergency repairs are--!"

Ginga shifted to a confused look as Shinano's face was in shock and after a few moments, she felt herself get shoved down since it was space there was no resistance and she easily moved downwards only for her to see something pointy miss her head by a gap and to her horror she watched as it penetrated through her abdomen and stick out the other side.

All this happened in a few moments and it took a few moments for her brain to click what just happened and when it did, she immediately went full on ballistic.

Her eyes began to glow as she looked at the person who did it only to find that it was one Purifier her eyes had some dead look to them but that didn't matter to her as she immediately called back most squadrons leaving a few to help the carriers.

Purifier's dead eyes shifted to her as the weapons she used returned to her hand making Shinano make a muffled scream as she grits her teeth.

"Target evaded," her voice even sounded dead as she stared into Ginga's glowing eyes, "Mission unchanged, remove the anomaly"

The dead Purifier charged at Ginga who immediately summoned her katana which was your normal black colour with gold markings and blade.

The 2 weapons clashed as sparks were made at the point of contact. Ginga had to ramp up her main engine to prevent being pushed back and lucky for her the cavalry had arrived.

Purifier immediately broke the contact as her point defence woke up and started to shoot down the multiple missiles but, they were simply too many for them to handle and some broke through and brought some much needed vengeance to the table.

Ginga maintained a radar lock with Purifier as her sword was burning in a golden fire similar to one of Yamato's sword slashes, she exhaled slowly before slashing across space.

However, she forgot one of the disadvantages she had as no crescent of energy was produced, all the energy in her sword seemingly vanished into space and that's when she realised it.

"Stupid Pacifist Cosmo Reverse System!" she yelled particularly at the piece of Iscandarian tech in her heart.

Ginga looked at the small dust cloud where the Purifier was and when she detected no movement she immediately went to help her sister who was getting better since her manjuu in her barges were doing an excellent job and that's thanks to their type 5 mobile chick armour which gave them more strength and protection.

As soon as she got close to Shinano she could visibly see her pain but suddenly Shinano managed to unsheathe her extra swords as they were covered in an unusual blue energy that allowed them to move without hands.

Shinano wasn't looking at her and suddenly the blades flew only inches from her before her radar suddenly detected a presence that wasn't there before. She tightened her grip on her sword before using her RCS to spin her around only for her to see Purifier who visibly had suffered moderate damage.

Purifier was locked in a battle with Shinano's swords and soon Ginga's fighters came to fulfil their role as the fun police and gave Purifier some more wounds. Seeing how Purifier was occupied Ginga took that moment to strike as she closed the distance quickly before bringing down her sword on the preoccupied Purifier at her side.

She put all her weight behind the blade on top of using her RCS to boost her speed and finally, she was able to deal some payback as the blade cut through its skin before digging deeper until she was able to make a clean cut across Purifiers side which leaked out yellow blood.

This made Ginga smirk seeing how their opponent could bleed which means it could be killed but in doing so she left a small opening which the clone gladly took as payback.

Ginga was about to strike again when she felt a sharp pain in her head before everything felt like it was spinning. She barely registered the blow she took to the head and that disoriented her but her AI cosmo firied her RCS stopping her roll while her fighters continued to do their best but soon had spent all their missiles with most jets being destroyed when they tried to do a gun run on Purifier.

The remaining few disengaged and docked with Ginga where they were quickly taken down into the hangar for repairs and rearmament, however, that meant that Purifier had 1 less thing to deal with and shortly broke Shinano's extra blades.

Now she looked at Shinano with her dead eyes while Shinano looked back with eyes full of rage for what she did to Ginga.

Purifier seemed to stand still for a while before she started moving closer to Shinano who couldn't do anything as all her offensive measures were used up.

"Reassessing the situation. Kansen Shinano takes priority over the anomaly" This change shocked Ginga as Shinano was largely defenceless.

Ginga gritted her teeth and tried to move but she couldn't move properly, most likely the blow knocked out some communication lines for her ship to work properly.

'Come on move dammit!' Ginga tried again and failed she knew she wouldn't reach in time even if she didn't have communication problems now, she had to rely on something that had always been a thorn in her side.

'Please CRS even if it's one shot, please!'

Her CRS {Cosmo reverse System} stayed quiet even though she desperately tried to call for it. Now tears were forming in her eyes as the siren moved to end the supercarrier's life.

"I don't want to lose my sister," Ginga said the last part out loud as her eyes glowed an even brighter golden colour and in front of her eyes, she could see a soldier look at her before smiling as he lifted 1 finger. She would only get 1 chance.

Her CRS powered up as she felt turret 1 come to life with energy, Cosmo quickly helped target the siren as the turret slightly rotated before letting rip its first salvo in this world.

Ginga watched as the 3 positron rounds sailed around each other before merging into 1 beam that hit Purifier who didn't have enough time to react. The beam met some resistance due to an energy shield but it quickly overpowered it and slammed into purifiers rigging causing an explosion to take place.

Ginga wasn't going to wait any longer as she struggled to raise her engine power.

"Come on Cosmo hurry up!"

After a brief system reboot the problem was fixed and Ginga immediately rushed to her sister's aid who was almost done with emergency repairs.

Shinano eyed her with a look of surprise as she asked the question on her mind, "Sister, how come you never did that earlier?"

Ginga at this part was surprised but understood where it came from.

"There's this piece of tech I have that's called the Cosmo Reverse System, CRS for short and it was an experimental tech that was first installed on Yamato before being passed to me and the CRS has this complicated process where it can contain the soul of a person and the will of said soul dictates whether or not I can use my turrets or not and so far they were all pacifist it's only this time they made an exception for you"

Shinano took a moment to digest that and understood why she marked herself as more of a support ship than an attack ship.

"Though I don't fully understand it, I'm glad you can open up about it" Shinano said as her Neutron core ramped up to normal operational setting, the barges that were floating around her floated away as all of her emergency repairs were completed.

Shinano looked around and noticed how the other carriers were finishing up with the sirens on their side and when they moved to the attack force, they widened a bit as she counted way more siren capital ships there than before.

The attack force was doing all they could to escape the encirclement they found themselves in. Most ships were damaged with varying degrees as the battleships took the brunt of all attacks getting severe or even near critical damages of which Nagato and Mutsu had several.

Shinano doubted in her mind that they could survive the situation they found themselves in. Her radar pinged again as multiple fast objects were closing in, Ginga also tensed up as she also sensed the incoming danger. The little point defence that Shinano had, came online as her targeting systems predicted the path of said objects.

Seconds before they fired her Identifier marked the objects as ASM missiles closing in on the sirens around the attack force, her mind felt at ease as she knew that there was only 1 faction that had missiles like those.

Ginga also identified some other missiles in the rear of that cluster and they appeared with the symbol CE, she thought about this form for a moment until she realised that they stood for a potent source of energy, Cosmic Energy and there were only 2 cruisers that had that.

A few seconds later, multiple explosions rocked the sirens who intercepted some but were quickly overwhelmed as missile after missile slammed into their hulls causing a bright explosion and shockwave but the main event was yet to start as the CE missiles plunged deep into the siren formations before becoming a miniature star.

All kansens in the area had to shield their eyes again as the space around them was lit by a bright white light followed by an intense shockwave that rattled their rigging and a slight exposure to heat for those near the explosions.

After the explosions subsided, the attack force had a huge opening to exploit and they did exploit it as they made a spear formation as they sunk any siren that survived that onslaught. Once they were free of the encirclement, they quickly regrouped with the carriers who weren't in any good shape to provide decent support.

But a solution did present itself as Ginga tracked 2 familiar targets heading their way and behind them was the help they so badly needed.

Both cruisers, when they saw how badly Shinano was damaged and even their delicate Ginga receiving a fair share of wounds, made them go ballistic and when they found out how Yamato was kidnapped by a siren, they needed all the reasons to remove the direction where the sirens were coming from as a rifle appeared in each cruisers hand, this was followed by Ginga trying to drive sense into them at how to keep their trump card for the worst scenarios.

Meanwhile, the Azur Lane Kansens regrouped and planned a new strategy as carriers with some Pulsar combat ships and destroyers were separated and put at the rear again. The combined attack force was split by their factions as Nagato, Iowa, Bismark, Vittorio, Queen Elizabeth, Enterprise for the carriers and other major figures from other factions boarded the Admiral's ship to make a quick decision as both sides seemed to be building up and preparing their ships once more.

"Ok, let's start" the admiral spoke up as he looked at each leader, "So far the only casualty the Sakurans received was the loss of the Argo, is that correct."

Nagato looked at the admiral as she silently wished for them to finish quickly," Yes, she was indeed sucked into a cosmic portal by some high ranking siren, however, without the Argo we wouldn't have been able to make it this far without her strength."

The admiral nodded before talking to everyone assembled there, " Now seeing how the battle has progressed we need new attack methods. That's why I am asking for all heavy cruisers and battleships to form a single fleet as this would be the combined attack force and be responsible for maintaining the first line of defence. All destroyers should form into a single fleet that leverages their speed and agility for hit and run tactics. Light cruisers would man the second defence line in case sirens open a portal behind our lines we can intercept them before it's too late."

All kansens noted this down but they had 1 question in their head, who would lead these brand new fleets?

The admiral knew of this and gave his answer, "For the attack force, Iowa will be the flagship and coordinate the attack of the sirens, for the destroyers, USS Johnston will be in charge, she's adept at charging the enemy and has enough experience for such, *WW2 flashbacks*. Light cruisers will have Cleveland in charge and lastly, carriers will be in the able hands of Enterprise. Now it's time for some payback."

The order from the admiral was acknowledged and the kansens quickly moved into their respective fleets the cruisers Kitakami and Oicchi joined the attack force even if they were classified as Light cruisers in their previous form, they wanted to make the sirens pay dearly for their actions.

Now the battlefield was changing as it seemed like kansens were slowly getting the upper hand in the war.

In the siren controlled dimension, Ark could be seen in her throne room watching the battle unfold but her expression always maintained a bored expression, she could be doing something else but there wasn't anything to do since most things on her structure were automated.

The only times she became slightly interested was when Yamato used a new weapon to attack the sirens, the other times was when Purifier was forced to retreat by a cruiser who wielded a unique energy that Ark couldn't get much data on. Her final shock came when Ginga fired her first salvo of positron beams and this shocked Ark as she always knew that Ginga was a support vessel that had little use being at the front lines.

Now her view changed from viewing the battle to viewing a certain fox floating out at the L2 Lagrange point.
