Episode 28

After fucking in the forest, Agreus and I walked back together hand-in-hand. My ass still felt sore but at least this time I grew used to it.

"So do I have to train with Ishtar again?" I turned my head to look up at him, pouting. "Because I want you to train me!" I whined.

He pulled me closer after he hooked his arm around my side. "That doesn't sound like such a bad idea. I am definitely not leaving you alone with her another day longer!"

I smiled happily and hugged him. Speaking of the she-devil, she was standing there with Matias as if both were waiting on us.

"I see you two were having fun!" Matias said, being a tease as usual. "Just don't leave too many white stains on the trees, okay?"

"Shut up you asshole!" Agreus flicked a finger at him and all Matias did was laugh.

Ishtar narrowed her eyes at Matias and nodded her head to me as if he had to tell him something. Matias became serious again and cleared his throat.

"I just recently received a call from the Vladimir coven. It's just a message for Dorrek. Your father has fully recovered and they sent their regards."

Now this was one way to spoil my mood. I wanted to go over their and kick their asses with the new tough training I had. I was so fucking frustrated. They sent their regards?! Are they are for real.

"Give them a message back and tell them to go to hell!" Agreus spat venom and i pouted, lifting my chin up and turning my head away agreeing with him. "Actually scrap that, just tell them to go to heaven not hell... since my parents are there and I really don't want them to meet them..."

Hold up! His parents were hell?! Agreus never told me more about that.

"You know another thing you and your father have in common, is that you're terrible at insults." Matias said and shook his head. "But oh well I'll gladly send them your response. In the meantime have you made any progress in your training."

"He's a paragon." Ishtar added. "Compared to the other three, he hasn't exactly accomplished a thing. And we don't have a lot of time on our plates. Those White Skulls could attack any minute now."

"I have already prepared the academy. A couple of students have already left to go home for the time being until this issue is resolved."

They were right. They couldn't waste their time training me and I learnt a lot more with my time here than what I knew before. I even learnt how to fight with a spear which I was still getting a hang off but I can stab someone with it and that counts as something!

I still didn't like feeling like I was the one making everyone go through all this trouble. I wasn't even king at this academy and didn't even want to come here in the first place, yet there were people already going through lengths for a guy they didn't even know. Maybe graduating here wouldn't be such a bad idea.

"Hey..." Agreus gently nudged my rib with his knuckle which tickled me a little and made me look at him smiling. "How about we call it a day and get something to eat, yea?"

"Sure I'm famished."

"I'll see you dudes whenever I see you." Agreus lazily waved off his adoptive parents and picked me up bridal style before teleporting with me to Big Belly Burger.

The restaurant was quiet today. I guessed even the town itself had to prepare itself and I didn't exactly know what connection our chancellor had with the town's mayor. I barely knew this town. The atmosphere over the place has shifted entirely and it was as if a natural disaster that struck Vladville was on its way to Whitemourne and they were only preparing themselves.

I was calmly eating my cheeseburger while so deep into thought. For a moment I started to rethink everything.

Agreus was busy eating like nobody's business. I knew how overprotective he was over me but he usually only relaxed when he's around me, convinced these people wouldn't be able to get to me with him in their way. I still didn't know everything I wanted to know about him, like what really happened to his parents or how powerful he was.

"Penny for your thoughts?" He said to me. "Or should I say, my cock for your thoughts?"

I blinked and looked away with flushed cheeks. "I-It's nothing..."

"You're becoming terrible at lying to me, you know that? Your pranks still piss me off though but don't worry. When this is all over I'll be taking you again, brat. You better talk or I will shove my dick inside you."

I rolled my eyes and looked at him. "Fiiinee you win." Because right now wasn't time to be dicked down as tempting as that sounded to me.

"I just wondered if I could maybe ask you more about, you know....you." I told him and waited to see his reaction. I didn't want to set him off the wrong way again, he had a short temper especially when it came to talking about stuff that affected or triggered his feelings.

He stared at his plate and chewed on some French fried. To my surprise he nodded and said. "Sure, ask me anything you want to know."

"Really?"

"Only this one time."

"Okay..." I smiled and bit my lower lip. "So how did your dad build the academy?"

"Out of all things you could ask me, that's what you want to know?"

"I don't know where to start, okay?" I pouted at his teasing.

He smiled and shook his head taking another bite and then swallowing. "Mmm, fine. There was a blood war many years ago between the gods and the supernatural. In the end the supernaturals won but they all had to face the aftermath of the war alongside the humans and it all happened here in Whitemourne. My father still wanted to pursue his dream in building a better world and so he decided to build Whitemourne Acadamy after stepping down the chancellor position at Whitemourne University."

"Oh, your dad must've been quite the hero. He sounds like a really cool dad!"

"He does!" He smiled and lightly caressed my cheek. "I was still a baby when I lost him and my mother..."

"Do you want to tell me what happened?" My eyes softened and I truly felt sad for him.

"During the war..." he sighed and looked ahead. "The battles caused the layline connection above the town to go unstable. It caused a rift in hell and my father wanted to avoid that because then hell would go loose on earth so someone had to stay on the other side to keep the rift close. He and my mother had to be the ones to do it and they've been trapped there ever since."

"So they're alive?"

"Yes." He sighed and laid his head on top of my shoulder. "But even there is no bringing them back..."

I gently stroked his cheek and pulled him closer to comfort him, lightly patting his head. "I know I am never a big talker and all, but you shouldn't lose hope. You will see your parents again, I'm certain of it."

"You really think so?" He looked at me.

"I know so."

His lips twitched and curled up and he kissed me before he pulled back. "I love you, Dorrek."

"I love you, Agreus."

I woke the following morning feeling even more happier than I was yesterday. Agreus for the first time used the l-word on me! It made me feel so good!

I grinned and got out of bed and headed to the showers. Most of the dorms were empty and so was the showers so I could take my time getting a bath before I returned to my room feeling fresh.

It was then when I heard the school's emergency alarm going off. It was happening. The attack was happening.

Agreus appeared next to me in a puff of hellish flames and he took my hand. "Hey! We gotta get you out of here!"

"What's going on?" I asked him. "Are they here?!"

"Yes! Just come with me!"

He pulled me into the fire and we both then appeared inside his room back at the frat house. He set me down on his bed and kneeled down.

"Everything is going to be fine. I won't let them get near you, okay? Just stay out and leave the rest to me."

"Okay." I nodded my head obediently. I still hated the fact that I was around here doing nothing.

Agreus walked to his door and locked it, putting a seal on it and then it suddenly went quiet. I got off the bed and walked to the window and peeked out. Several of his guys were at the front standing on guard looking over at the woods up ahead as three figures appeared.
