Chapter 37: You're Not at Home

"Ah? You are..." Jane Sampson, who was holding the phone, was startled and quickly looked down at the incoming call on her mobile phone. Sure enough, it was James Black. She blurted out, "I am home!"

She had just finished her training for the afternoon, which involved intense physical and form training that was exhausting. Upon hearing her phone ringing from the cabinet, she had answered it without even looking to see who it was. To her surprise, she had picked up a call from James Black.

"Heh," James Black let out a cold laugh. "Jane Sampson, it's not you who's at home, it's me who's at home."

James Black slapped off the dust on the sofa and sat down, his voice as cold as shards of ice, "Jane Sampson, how long has it been since you came home?"

No sooner had he finished speaking, James Black added, "Don't waste your energy lying. I can go check the record with the security guard."
