"The wild fruits in these mountains are just too plentiful; I should have brought my big backpack," Coco Edwards said. "I would pick about ten or eight catties and then sell them to rich folks like Amber Edwards for ten thousand per catty."
"Quite the moneymaker," Jane Sampson teased Coco, then turned her head and suddenly noticed a bunch of red wild fruits next to a bush.
Jane had a hard time remembering the name of this wild fruit, but she knew it was edible.
"Hold on, after we pick that fruit, we'll head back." Jane had an empty bag in her hand, which she shook before walking towards the bush.
Unexpectedly, when she reached the bush, she found herself staring into a pair of deep eyes, which startled her so much that she froze on the spot.
The eyes' owner had his head covered in camouflage grass and his face painted with oil colors. He made a silent gesture with his hand to Jane and then motioned for her to bend down.
