Jane Sampson was frightened by James Black's tone, and upon hearing James Black mention there were two murderers, she was even more terrified.
However, she snapped back to her senses within a few seconds and nodded vigorously at James Black.
"It should be fine," she said, her voice trembling.
James Black stretched out his hand and gently patted the back of Jane Sampson's hand, then lowered his head and kissed her red lips. "Be careful, and when the mission here ends, I will come to find you."
Jane Sampson hummed a response and pulled Coco Edwards along the path they had come.
On the way up, the two had been leisurely chatting and picking wild fruits, but now they were running back. Perhaps because of the nervousness in their hearts, both of them had unlocked a potential for sprinting and, astonishingly, made it back to the film crew in just seventeen or eighteen minutes, gasping for breath upon their arrival.
