She was still lost in thought.
She didn't notice the eyelashes of the person on the hospital bed tremble slightly, followed by a small movement of the fingers.
Although the motion was minimal, there was still movement.
Baron Lawrence hadn't opened his eyes yet, but he could already feel the touch of the little woman's hand on his thin lips. Memories from before his fall surged back, he frowned, and just as he was about to open his eyes, he heard the sound of the door opening.
Then came Scott Harris's voice, "Ms. Clark, I'm back."
Followed by a series of footsteps, "Lord hasn't woken up yet?"
Enna Clark shook her head, "Not yet."
Scott Harris put down the fruit he was carrying and looked at her with concern, "Ms. Clark, I'm back now, so why don't you go to the nearby hotel to rest? When Lord wakes up, I'll call you immediately."
How could she possibly sleep with Baron Lawrence lying here?
Enna Clark declined his kind offer, "No thanks, I'll wait here for him to wake up."
