With our outing such a success, Luna and I had grown closer, and the same could be said for me and Rafe. Things were getting better—they were slowly working themselves out. But there were things I still didn’t understand, things I needed to know if I was going to commit to a relationship with Rafe.


Luna had suggested that if I wanted to understand what being an official mate entailed, I should explore the pack house more and get to know some of the other members.
