I sent people after Lila and Leo but as much as it hurt, my priority had to be Luna and Mia. They were in rough shape and were injured for a while now, so their wounds needed to be seen to immediately to make sure none of them healed incorrectly.


Mia struggled a bit, reacting how I wanted to, but I was the Alpha. I was the leader. I had to stay in control or things were just going to get worse. So I forced her to go, trusting Luna to keep her from doing anything stupid.


Not that she was in any condition to walk.


My people cleaned up the bodies and gathered the injured as we headed back to the pack house. A perk of being a very rich pack was the fully stocked clinic we had inside our territory to take care of the wounded. 


“Careful, you’re not exactly her favorite person right now,” Luna warned as I opened the door to their shared hospital room.
