I thankfully have the perfect outfit for tonight. It is a very simple white dress that falls right above my knees. The shoulders sit on the side of my arms and the skirt flares out, giving the dress a bit of flow and body.


I took a shower and washed my hair, so curls are out of the question. Instead, I find a pretty white ribbon and tie up my hair using a scrunchie and the ribbon. 


I also managed to secure a reservation for the evening, which is a total score at Employees Only. I know the manager as well as some of the servers there. Some of the girls and guys who bartended at our establishment, Midnight’s Cocktail, ended up going on to this swankier place. 


All in all, I am proud of them, but I also miss hanging out. 


Needless to say, they definitely remember me and surrender a table, knowing they owe it to me from how many times I saved their butts while we were working together.
