A Mistake
It was a single mistake, a dumb mistake; Ebrietas could admit that.
It was a defense mission on Jupiter, a high-level one he expected to complete easily, but that did not happen, and you know why.
Because he took the wrong weapons, the wrong primary weapon, and the wrong melee weapon.
The weapons he had now were for Volt, not Titania.
'Where is Kuva Bramma when you need it, Void Dammit!!' Going to high ground, he looked down. 'If only I had my AOE weapon, you all would be dead.'
"Tenno sixty seconds remain. Until I have all the data I need," Lotus's voice came through his communications.
'Just need to buy time' An idea came to him.
Switching from his frame to himself, he dashed toward the corner of the room.
The idea was simple. The Corpus knew warframes, but they did not know operators. So he was going to lay down and shout that Titania went right and hope it worked.

He could hear the corpus and MOA's running toward him.
"That way! The warframe went right!" Shouting at the Corpus gunners, he watched them go right.
'Suckers'
"Ten seconds remain."
Ahh, perfect.

The moment he heard those words, he used his full speed to fly to the extraction point.
And done! He finally completed the mission. Ahh, he could relax now. Oh, he was going to hug his Kavat to Brim today or maybe play the shawzin with Umbra.
"Ebrietas, are you alright?"
Lotus's soothing and calm voice came from his orbiter.
"Yeah, I am alright. No need to worry, lotus."
His voice was full of confidence.
"You say that, but you do know that I can see you in your mission, correct?"

Alright, he might have forgotten about that.
"When I saw you switch to yourself and lay down, I thought something had gone wrong with the transference."
Lotus paused
Ok, what happened? Why did she pause?
"Never did I expect you to shout 'go right' to those corpus gunners and them following your direction."
"You put yourself in danger, Ebrietas." Her voice was now laced with authority. "Remain in your orbiter until I make sure it will never happen."
"But-
"But nothing. I know it happened because you had the wrong loadout. But I do not understand why you did not ask me to help you."
Ebritas stood still for a moment. He slowly replayed the last sentence Lotus said to him.
"You could help?" He asked in an uncertain or questioning tone.
"…" Lotus said nothing.
"Ebrietas, Do not forget who I am."
He stood silent.
"I am Natah, the Great Sentient Queen, daughter of Hunhow, the destroyer of worlds. I had fought the Orokin when they were at the height of their technological level."
"They fell, never to rise again. Ebrietas, do you believe that I cannot take control of these corpus warships or that I cannot control the robotics these corpus use?"
Ebrietas sat down on the floor of his orbiter.
"We never knew you could help us." His voice was calm.
"We?"
"Yes, I did not know you could help, nor did any other Tenno."
"I am sorry if I made you worry, Natah." His voice had a slight tinge of sadness.
That immediately snapped Natah out of her authority and monologue.
She was slightly panicking. She did not want to make Ebrietas sad.
She would never forgive herself if she made him cry or made him not want to talk to her.
Her sentient thought process, which was beyond understanding, ran many billion scenarios that would make him happy.
"Ebrietas, I am not mad." She made sure to wait for a moment. "But I will help you from now on, you and every other Tenno."
"I will inform every Tenno that I can help them if they ever find themselves in a situation that requires help."
He said nothing, but a small smile came on his face.
"I know Lotus. I know,"
He looked up with a smile on his face.
"Thank you." His voice was filled with affection.
Lotus said nothing; she didn't need to.
They sat around in silence, just in each other's company.
