An SI [Part - 2]

My eyes fully opened, and now I find myself fully awake.

I felt something on my body. It was putting a bit of pressure on me, but as I stared to move, I heard cracks.

Those were the rocks and whatever other stuff had gotten on my frame body for who knows how long.

I slowly got up, using my hands to wipe away whatever other stuff was on me, but I just felt so tired; it was like I was out of energy after running for too long.

Some people were coming my way, but I quickly realized who they were. I was looking at Grineers.

They were ugly. Looking at them, I felt they were cursed. Their faces were messed up; some had their right or left sides melted.

The game did not do them justice for how ugly and messed up they were.

I prepared to fight them off. I know my warframe body is much stronger, but at this moment, my body felt weak. I could feel my legs giving out, and I fell to my knees.

You know when you make a fist and you feel your muscles? I was feeling that with my entire body.

I tried to control my breathing, and it worked. I felt myself calm down. I guess the warframe still has that biological need for oxygen.

I looked up in time to see Vor approaching me, staring at me with his biological and robotic eyes.

"I see the Lotus has tried to wake you," he said, his voice sounding wrong, like a machine and dying man trying to be in synthesis but failing completely.

"Pity she's too late!"

He pulled out an ankle bracelet, and I looked at it, trying to move my body to get away from that thing, but this body refused to move, still too tired from sitting in the same position for thousands of years.

The body was adapting. I knew the moment I woke up and moved, but it was still not enough for me to be at full power.

Vor kneeled down toward me.

"You're my prize now, Tenno," Vor hissed cruelly as he clamped the ankle bracelet on my body.

He got up and stared, walking away from me slowly as the other Grineer cocked their guns at me.

"No!" he shouted at them. "We are taking this one with us!"

They all lowered their guns and relaxed, and Vor left things to them as he walked away and out of my sight.

I looked as the Grineers began to close in on me, ready to capture me and take me to their queens.

"What has he done to you?" A warm, feminine voice said it with worry in my ear.

'Finally' I thought to myself.

"I can't lose another Tenno." I could hear determination burning in her voice. "I'm surging your Warframe's power systems."

Suddenly, pure power flooded me, like my recharging energy reservoirs were filled. The weakness I felt was washed away, and my fatigue was gone as well.

My body floated off the ground as a wave of power rippled and knocked down the Grineer that had been closing in on me.

I stood up now, looking down on the Grineers that were knocked down.

Powerful, I felt powerful; this feeling was addicting.

"Quick!" I heard. The Lotus voice came to me again. "Use your power. Defend yourself."

'But how do I use my power?' I thought to myself.

{ Quest: Awakening

You have awakened within your warframe shackled by Vor. Kill all the Grineers and make your escape.

Wukong Passive: The Five Secrets has been unlocked.

Wukong Skill: Celestial Twin has been unlocked. {Rank—1}

To use your skill, simply think about it or will for the skill to activate. }

'How curious, but first, let's take care of these clones,' I thought to myself. 'Celestial Twin!'

I felt the energy within my body leave me as it took on a physical shape, and then I looked to see a perfect picture of myself staring at me.

I lifted my hand towards it, and it did the same. We gave each other a handshake, which turned into a short hug.

Turning toward the Grineer, I saw them beginning to reorient themselves.

"Kill them," I said, indicating the Grineer.

My copy didn't even hesitate to launch himself toward the nearest Grineer and put his fist into his heart, using the now-dead body as cover as he ran toward them.

Running toward a Grineer with a gun, I launched myself at him, taking control of the gun in his hand and pointing the gun toward other Grineers. I pulled the trigger.

The sound of gunfire echoed throughout the room as the group of Grineers died.

All the Grineers were dead, as my copy finished the last one.

It stood still now, looking at me.

'Celestial Twin' I saw it turn into small, light particles as it dispersed. The memories it had were transferred to me.

'This will be useful if I want to learn or train; it will significantly help me'

{Awakening—Part One: Warframe Power: Completed!}

I saw an indicator appear in my vision—an orange indicator telling me where to go, just like in the games.

I didn't wait for anything more and started sprinting. I felt the rain hit my body, and the voices of animals surrounded me as they were running.

Running at my maximum speed, I quickly came across what looked like a small base for the Grineer. Making my way inside, I saw the two starter melee weapons on the table.

{Choose your melee weapon.}

I looked at the first one, a short sword that I knew was the Skana. My pick when I first started playing the game.

The second was a two-handed weapon, a BO Staff, a mastery fodder weapon. It was not a good starter weapon, as my friend told me who picked it.

{A new skill has been unlocked.}

'Show Me'

{Personal Skill: Observe [Rank: 1]}

Turning toward the two weapons, I used it on them.

[Skana, a sword-class weapon, the standard weapon with moderate damage, range, and speed.]

[MK1-Bo, a Staff-class weapon, a strong and long-ranged weapon, albeit slow in speed]

{Observe has leveled up to Rank: 2}

I know my choice of picking up the Skana was made the moment I saw the starter weapons. I know which primary and secondary weapons I will choose.

The blade in my hand was not heavy; it was light.

Giving it a few swings, I felt my body adapt to the weapon, like it knew this weapon and how to use it.

And suddenly, memories of how to use multiple types of melee weapons were in my head.

I now knew how to use a sword, a machete, claws, pole arms, a dagger, a rapier, a scythe, and hammers.

There were other types of weapons, but my question is, how do I know these?

{Skill Acquired: Sword Mastery Rank: 4 ← 6}

{Skill has been degraded for the host.}

'Why?'

{Answer: Host is not mentally and physically capable enough in his current state}

'Will it rise after I am?'

{Answer: No host will need to train himself to raise the skill.}

'Why do I know these skills?'

{Answer: Every Tenno does, and now the host does as well.}

...Yeah ok.

I tensed when I heard multiple loud footsteps, with some shouting, that confirmed the Grineers were coming for me.

'Celestial Twin' I paid my copy no mind as I rushed toward the Grineers with my blade.

.

.

All of them were dead; they never even got the chance to fire their guns.

{Awakening—Part 2: Melee Combat Completed!}

Dismissing the notification, I saw another indicator appear, canceling my celestial twin and getting his memories as I ran toward my next destination.

As I ran, I could see a broken bridge. I stopped, but as memories flooded my brain again, I picked up my speed, did a bullet jump that crossed the gap, and landed safely on my feet.

{New Skill Acquired: Parkour Rank: 5 ← 8}

There was no need for me to stop, so I kept running forward. I quickly swung my sword at a broken fan in my way, destroying it, before I quickly crouched down to get through the new opening.

I continued to run through the forest, sliding under trees and using Bullet Jump to cover distance faster, before I came upon what looked like a burning village.

. . . I don't feel anything. Why?

{Answer: Being dead and having your soul void touch has changed your morality}

'I understand, but are there any more effects?' I asked as I slowly walked up toward a crate that had two weapons on it.

{Insufficient data}

I shook my head as I finally arrived at the secondary weapons.

{A/N : So I did make a part two.

SI are harder to write than I realize, but in the chapter you might notice Adam does not question things or be shocked when he realizes his morality has been changed.

I personally disklike stories where MC start questioning their choices or their morality, but I have a slight more dislike toward stories when the MC just wants to lock his morality toward good or evil.

Adam is based on me, so he is pretty lazy and uncaring towards he does not know.}
