Chapter 8 :no pity

Five weeks passed by in a flash and the news of the kidnapping started dying out as citizens went on with their lives .The police were still in search of her but not as vigilant as before.

Some where in a dark alley a silhouette of a man could be seen it was late in the evening and wearing a balaclava and dark coat and pants one could not really see his face with the only visible thing being his cold eyes. Making sure no one was following him he entered into a shabby seemingly abandoned building in the city.

"Who's there ?Ooh boss it's you ,took you some time to get here and you never gave me a warning. I could have shot you you know,"said the goon as he put the gun back down."where is the girl? " Cliff as when directly to the point.

"Oh she is sleeping I give her some sedatives after forcing her to eat since she could not stop crying but don't worry she will wake up soon s the medicine is about to wane off,"replied the goon already used to Cliff's cold attitude.

He took a chair and set it directly in front of the sleeping lady as he waited patiently for her to gain consciousness."oh ,hello sleeping beauty took you long enough to wake up. Now look here, you've got one choice, I'm going to call your dad and you will have tell him to confess all his dirty and evil doing or else he loses his precious daughter ."Cliff said immediately the poor lady came back.

Startled her first instinct was to scream looking at the cold eyes staring at her she immediately held it in although she could not do it anyway as her mouth was taped .Tears slowly fell off her face as she tried to look pitiful.Cliff who could not care any less immediately dialed a number a called the Senator .

Seated somewhere in a lavish mansion Mr Chad the governor of area A was trying to go through some work documents his brows creased and had quite some prominent dark circles around his eyes evidence of his sleepless nights .His phone started ringing suddenly and seeing the unknown number ho frown deepened and with he signaled his head of security to pick it up and put it on loud speaker ,"Who the fuck are you and how'd you get this num....,"before he could finish his angry runt ,the voice on the other side suddenly made him stop.

"Dad ,is that you ?Dad please help me .Am scared they are have me and there are..."Cliff suddenly cut her short and signalled his goon to tape her again as he disconnected the call.With an angry bellow he asked the goon to roughen her a bit and the barbarian who didn't mind her been a girl was happy to revenge all the tantrums she had thrown.He didn't dare go overboard and only gave her some few hard slaps and after making sure she got the message he removed the tape and the girl was now as docile as a lamb and scared shitless but did not dare make another sound as she looked at Cliff as if he were the devil.

Cliff who was observing this then made another call.

On the other side the governor who had had the call disconnected after hearing from his daughter again after over a month was going crazy and urging the authorities to trace the call but to no avail . Suddenly another call came in ,after everything quitened he picked up ,"Dad ,he wants you to confess to all your dirty deeds or else they're going to kill me."He heard his daughter from the other side say who this time got straight to the point.He tried to comfort her but she would not talk and just insisted that she were going to her killed if hos father did not confess to the authorities. The police were trying to trace the call which proved impossible as the call came from an untraceable source . After giving the deadline of two hours Cliff disconnected the call .

He warned the girl not to try to scream as he waited patiently for the two hours time to pass where he would start his crazy plan if the governor chose not to confess to the media of all his evil deeds.

Tik tac !The hours went by fast and as the final hour was coming to an end the governor went live on all media outlets on a press conference and although a bit suprised Cliff decided to watch it as he put it on for all three people present to see.

"Seems like your father loves you after all huh."said the goon to her as they waited for the Governor to start talking."You don't understand my father is a good person and he does not have anything to hide ,"she answered meekly but quickly shut up as Cliff eyed her and with a sneer he continued to watch the live news.
