He's back ...

"Come-on dude you need to let of some steam, you just got back and now you are a saint, come on everyone this next drink is to honor the return of our friend Ken," a loud voice was heard at a certain VIP bar in the city. Kennedy the senator's son, had decided to go out drinking with his friends to let out his frustrations from his sister's condition which had not improved at all despite the passing of another whole week since his arrival back home. He had gone off to have some drinks with his friends all who came from influential family and had no problem accessing the multy-expensive lavish bar.

He gulped down a shot from his friends Toby's urging as the rest of the group erupted into cheers." There you go, now that's the Ken I know, and everyone tonight we drink in honor of my brother Ken, for his return," continued Toby speaking a bit louder as the loud music from the bar continued blasting full loud. More and more glasses of liquor were down as the friends continued catching up, the atmosphere serene and full of laughter.

Kennedy who was completely wasted, was talking nonstop bragging about his achievements and his charm. while his friends who were also drunk listened and laughed and sometimes shared their experiences and what he had missed since moving away. This banter went on around until they came the topic about women. Kennedy who always was the one to brag continued to talk about how he could woo any woman while his friends watched on in amusement aware about his not so good looks while Tim one of the friends snickered outright an action that failed to escape Ken's eyes.

"What dude do you have a problem, or you got something to say?" Kennedy asked Tim whom he felt had wronged him while staring at him menacingly. Tim who normally would have backed off, was too drunk to be intimidated and instantly went off, "Come-on Ken, we all know no girl likes you, and the only thing appealing about you is your bank account, I mean no offence, but you look like the person who made you had a grudge with face symmetry. Where do you think the joke about whether you're adopted came from I mean your parents are okay so how could they make something so hideous?" Blurted out Tim before anyone could react. What followed was silence that draped the room like a velvet shadow, unbroken and profound, as if the world itself had paused to listen to the whispers of its own heartbeat, with the only sound been the music from the club. The six friends were stunned their mouth agape, almost on the floor. The former serene atmosphere was now drop dead freezing cold .

"What the hell did you just say to me you fucking piece of crap?" Kennedy who had been stunned mute suddenly came back to his senses. He abruptly stood up from his sit angrily charging at Tim who could not react in time and was smacked hard on his face ,sent flyimg and left sprawling on the floor. The angry Kennedy the lept on top of him continuining to hit the smaller dude under him. All this happened in a spur and before the other five could react it already turned into a bloody sprawl. Although sturned they quickly separated the two with much difficulty.

Tim was already bloodied and looked like a mess, his face was swollen, and he was missing a few teeth. It took three of the others to keep Kennedy from charging back and they quickly made Tim leave the scene to avoid further escalation of the already nasty situation. The brawl had already attracted the bars management who quickly left after matters settled down. Toby who was the only one who remained of the six others was silently watching Kennedy who was slowly downing more liquor. "Dude, I think you already had enough you know we should go. I brought you here to catch up and for you to let your mind off things but looks like I was wrong you're too drunk, so I'll call you a cab home," he said as he took out his phone.

Ken who had failed to react until then suddenly looked up and spoke slowly,"they think I can't get any woman I want, well ill show them even if its money, so what it's still my money," he finished and stood up abruptly and disappeared into the club before Tim could react. Tim stood up after him and after a moment in deep thought, he picked up his belongings and decided to leave knowing he could not handle his friend who was already drunk and had a mission in mind.
