Chapter 6 "I Got A Friend In You"

Hearing the sudden complain from the man beside him, the boy turned his gaze at Marca. Just for a moment after seeing his face, Marca swore the boy's pupil was fixed into a certain area above his head before finally, the boy apologized with a smile.

"I am sorry for bothering your fishing session! You see, this is the first time fishing for me. Looking at how you've been calmly, perhaps you got a tip or two for me?" The boy asked while looking at him with a curious look.

No matter what Marca tried to do, he couldn't find it in his heart to get mad at the boy, who stared at him with a naive expression. It was a look that Marca couldn't quite define, no matter how hard he tried to search for the right words—an innocent gaze that spoke of genuine interest.

Marca couldn't help but chuckle at the boy's earnest curiosity. Setting aside his fishing rod for a moment, he gestured to the open spot next to him on the rocky outcrop by the shore.
