Ch:4 Pact

The battlefield, covered in a bright crimson, a macabre painting of human body parts and blood, the artist standing in the middle, a giddy smile on her face, her once silky white hair soaked in a deep red, a sword and pistol on her hips.

Maru, having a feeling of psychotic happiness due to the carnage that she just caused, sighed to calm herself down. "I really wish I could continue, oh well the white fang seems to be wrapping things up. Wonder if they'll take me if I ask to join? Meh they probably will"

Maru started to skip towards the remains of a significantly less bloody battle, the carefree smile remaining on her face.

With Maru reaching the group of White Fang members and the guards that they had captured, the faunus were instantly on guard. After all, a young girl who seemed to be covered in more blood than not, casually skipping towards them tends to incite some fear.

"Yo, how are you guys going?" Maru said casually.

The faunus just stood there dumbfounded at how casually this girl just talked to them, completely ignoring the fact that they had prisoners and she was covered in blood.

"Um, uh, ok? I guess?" One of the white fang members said cautiously.

"Sweet, it's good you guys are going good, especially after that tough battle you fought" Maru said laughing slightly.

There was an incredibly awkward silence permeating throughout the group.

Maru's laughing slowly turned awkward, whilst looking around for something to say and being unsuccessful, Marus' savior from the awkwardness showed.

"What do you all think you're doing?" a commanding voice said from behind Maru, making her jump slightly.

Turning around she is met eyes with a group of seven faunus all in white fang masks apart from the leader of the group. The leader of the group was a tanned woman, with short black hair and tiger ears resting atop her head. Piercing gold eyes demanding respect from her subordinates, partnered with the stripes running across her body, she looked exotic. She had what seemed to be a chain whip strapped to her hip. The young man next to her had his face covered in a grimm mask but his striking red hair and bull horns stood out. He wore mainly black and red, and his blade at the ready.

"I asked what you all think you're doing," the commanding voice of the tanned leader said again, ignoring the presence of a very bloody Maru, while sounding more annoyed than before.

All the white fang members that Maru was previously talking to fell to one knee. The one in front pointed to Maru and said. "We are sorry high leader, we were distracted from our job by this woman."

Maru looked like a deer caught in headlights when all the terrorist's eyes turned to her, in response to what the white fang member said she responded. "Hey what the hell man!? Why did you have to throw me under the bullhead like that!?".

Feeling eyes boring into the back of her head Maru turned around to meet authoritative golden orbs, trying but failing to blend into the background Maru put on a sheepish smile that seemed out of place on her blood stained self and said with a small wave "Hey there."

"And who might you be?" The masked young man said with a cautious undertone standing with his hand on his sword's hilt and tilting it in its scabbard forward.

"Name's Maru!" All her earlier excitement came back in full swing, her smile growing wide and proud at the conversation seemingly going in a better direction completely missing the suspicion coming from the other party.

The stare and the deadpan face the young man gave to Maru made her confused looking around and seeing no one she shrugged and continued on with what she was going to say "I just came over here to see how these guys where going and to ask if I could talk to the leader of this raid" she turned to the tanned woman "I'm assuming you're the leader right? Well you most likely are seeing as though those guys called you, high leader."

The tanned woman watched Maru ramble on an intrigued look fell upon her face, interrupting Marus rambling as she spoke. "Yes I am the leader, my name is Sienna Khan the current leader of the white fang, what is it that you wish to speak about"

After Marus rambling stopped she showed surprise and then happiness at being able to talk to the leader of the White Fang "sweet this will be easier then, I want to join the White Fang" after saying this all the faunus around instantly gained a surprised expression, all but Sienna and the young man next to her.

A man who seemed to have black feathers throughout is black hair and a large duel scythe strapped to his back suddenly spoke up, panicking. "High Leader! We can't let this psychopath join the Fan! She will be uncontrollable, you saw what she did to those guards!"

The only reaction Maru had to the sudden outburst was an unsettling giggle and her disappearing. The man heard a voice from next to his ear. "Oh so you saw that, it was a pretty good job wasn't it?"

Every person jumped and turned around at the sudden disappearance and words said.

The man's entire body dripped with cold sweat, he slowly turned around to see a face that would normally be considered beautiful having a crazed smile ripping it in two. The man backed off putting a hand on his dual scythe ready to draw at any second until a commanding voice spoke up. "Nyx! Stand down."

Nyx turned towards Sienna who stood unconcerned about the situation. "But high leader Khan! She was about to attack me!" he said turning back to look at Maru who's crazed smile was replaced with a smaller more amused smirk.

"Gotcha, hahahaha, oh you should've seen the look on your face, it was priceless. Hahaha!" Maru said bursting out in laughter.

Confused Nyx looked towards Sienna who looked amused at the situation, seeing Nyx looking at her perplexed Sienna let out a small laugh and said. "if she was going to attack us she would have done so much earlier, you saw what she did to those guards, we wouldn't have even seen her coming."

She then turned to the still laughing and rolling around on the floor Maru and said "Maru, you want to join the white fang yes?" At the girl's nod she continued. "Very well then you may join but under one condition, you must use those skills of yours to further the cause of the white fang and to help Faunus kind, do you accept these terms Maru?"

Maru showing the most serious face she has shown since any of them have met, replies. "I accept."

All the rest of the group were looking dumbfounded at the exchange between the two women who are still staring at each other with the most serious expressions, then Maru broke out a smirk and Sienna a small smirk in kind, Maru then started laughing her head off with Sienna's small chuckle going along side it.

All the rest still dumbfounded at the two didn't notice the SDC guard who was originally captured by the White Fang members get up and start to try and sneak away, that was until a gunshot rang off and a hole appearing in the back of his head, the perpetrator holding her gun in one hand still looking at Sienna said. "I think we're gonna get along quite well, Sienna".

A/N hope you enjoyed i was planning on posting yesterday but couldn't due to having to do irl stuff anyway im going to try to stick to a schedule of Wednesday and Saturday but no promises. Btw Sienna is fairly au compared o what most expect of her in canon but meh i enjoy this one and she is like 10 years younger then canon so she would only be 2 years older than Maru making her 20 this means she'll be 27 by the time canon hits and Maru will be 25.
