Chapter Thirteen: Training Ground

"Huu haaa!" The sound of unified breathing echoed across the training ground as a group of children practiced with spears in hand. Their movements were synchronized, their determination palpable as they honed their skills under the watchful eye of the village head.

Li Wei's gaze was fixed on the training ground, his thoughts consumed by a mixture of annoyance and determination. "That bastard Long San," he grumbled inwardly, a hint of frustration in his thoughts. "Hmph, he just disappeared like he doesn't exist, without giving me any spear technique and telling me to go practice the basics to get used to my new strength."

His frustration deepened as he continued, "And also, when will I start cultivating inner qi? Hmm, I guess I will ask him when I next see him."

Amidst the group of children, Li Wei stood tall, spear in hand, mimicking the practiced movements. However, his mind was elsewhere, contemplating his own path and how it would intersect with the enigmatic Long San's guidance.

"Li Wei, concentrate!" The village head's voice boomed across the training ground, drawing Li Wei's attention back to the present moment.

Li Wei blinked, his gaze snapping to the village head who was pointing directly at him. "Yes, village head!" he replied with a hint of embarrassment, his focus returning to the training at hand.

As the training continued, Li Wei immersed himself in the movements, determined to make the most of his opportunity. The sweat on his brow mingled with the dirt, and his muscles protested against the demands he placed upon them. Yet, with each repetition, his technique improved, and his body adapted to the newfound strength and agility he had gained from the transformation.

The village head moved among the children, providing guidance and corrections, his eyes keen and attentive. He spotted Li Wei's progress and nodded approvingly, recognizing the boy's commitment.

Amidst the physical exertion, Li Wei's mind wandered back to Long San, the mysterious mentor who had challenged him in more ways than one. He looked forward to the day when he could confront Long San, demanding the guidance he sought and answers to his burning questions.

As the sun began to dip below the horizon, the training session came to a close. Li Wei's body was sore, but his spirit was invigorated. he was determined to carve his destiny with each practiced movement
