Parting Ways

While Jaaga was more comfortable than ever, especially after her time spent locked up, Rizz was beginning to feel a chill that was hard to fight.

The sun was nearly out of sight. There was no longer any warm light to help the nearly naked goblin combat the cold breeze of the snow-capped mountains. As he pulled his hands away from Jaaga's fur, Rizz felt the impulse to rub his arms.

But he stopped himself, just in time to avoid lathering himself with any residual, shiver-inducing ointment.

Rizz speedily searched his surroundings for a way to rub off the lingering paste, and he shivered when he found his best option.

Before the sun could disappear, Rizz skittered to the nearest bank of snow. He plunged both hands in and rubbed away all ointment from his fingers. Though he ended up dipping his fingers back in to keep clean under his fingernails. It was hard to tell the difference between what was cold from the snow and what was cold from the ointment.
