Chapter 30

Major sprinted out of the alleyway and towards 45th Avenue. He ran as fast as his legs could take him. It's lucky that he has a large amount of stamina due to a life full of battle. Using a zoom trick, he could see the street sign in the distance for 45th Avenue. The motivation of the sight of his goal sped him up more.

He turned the corner of 45th Avenue, Asia wasn't too far away, he could detect her presence coming from a warehouse on the street. He zapped to the other side of the road where the warehouse was. It was down a lane near an industrial district, full of warehouses.

He halted as he arrived in front of the warehouse. It wasn't a large warehouse at all, one of the smallest he'd seen so far. It had two wide garage doors on the front, big enough to fit a van through.

Without hesitations he created another focal point on his fingertip. It glowed brightly in his face and it pulsed on his finger. The building itself started to break way and swirl towards the focal point. Bricks started to break away and the metal from the garage door started to peel away aswell.

"What on earth is going on out there?" He heard from inside the warehouse, a man in the suit was rambling onto his lackies. Asia was sitting in a chair, tape over her mouth and chains tying her down. She was startled at the sudden noises coming from outside. "Someone go out and see what on earth is going on."

As one of his lackies went to the door, the wall of the room started breaking down and it was being pulled away. The dark room now had the bright daylight shining through. The room peeled away quickly revealing a gaping hole in the warehouse where a part of the building had once been.

"My gosh, what sort of trick is that!" The man in the pink tie gazed, eyes widened as the building was being consumed by Major's trick.

From the other side of the room, one of the hooded lackies, with a Balaklava over his face pointed a gun at Asia's head. "Lemin, should I execute the prisoner?"

"No goddamn it! And don't say my name!" The sounds of the building stopped all of a sudden. Lemin turned his head around to see Major, inches from his face. He cried in terror and fell backwards. "Gosh, don't scare me like that!"

"Problem?" Major kicked him in the face sending him tumbling to the other side of the room. The spikes on his shoes made small puncture marks in his cheeks. "Good choice of kicks, Asia." He waved at her playfully.

The masked lacky shot a bullet at him, Major quickly fired a beam and disintegrated it with ease. "It's a waste of bullets to do that mate." Major walked up to Asia and swiped his leg at her, using the spikes on his shoes to cut the ropes binding her to the chair.

Asia muttered words from the tape around her mouth. "Can't hear you sorry. One sec." He pulled his phone out and took a selfie with Asia whilst she had tape over her mouth. She pulled an angry expression. "Saaaaay hostage!" She punched him in the gut and finally he removed the tape.

"What the hell was that for?" She said in an angry tone.

"I just thought it'd be funny if the first picture on my new phone was of you with tape over your mouth." He started laughing to himself. He rocked forward and backwards laughing and got blasted away into the gaping hole he'd made.

He got to his feet with ease to reveal a white barrier like aura coating his body, which seemed to absorb the blow. He looked up at a now standing Lemin, who had his hand out with smoke coming from his hand where a trick had been fired. "Quite a basic impact trick for a man I believed to have much prestige. Kinda disappointing you know."

"Tch. Don't take me for an amateur, that was basic because I made it basic. Just had to see if you had your guard down." He straightened himself back up once more. "That barrier is even more basic than the trick I used, it's such a useless trick that barely anyone uses it anymore."

"Maybe I anticipated that you'd test me." Major shrugged his shoulders.

Lemin bit his lip with nerves. He took a deep breath. "Well I've always wanted to see if I am of captain level strength. I know exactly who you are. You are, how should I say this, infamous."

"Fine by me, test your skills as much as you want. I can already tell you're not captain level yet." Major smirked at him.

Lemin ran towards Major, holding his fist downward whilst charging it with a glowing pink energy. He swung it straight at Major. He didn't flinch, he changed the trajectory and it hit the floor, causing an outburst of rocks and concrete to richochet upwards.

Major zapped onto his back when he was bent over. "First mistake, don't run at your opponent."

Lemin swiped his other arm backwards and hit nothing as Major had vanished. A second later, he was dealt a kick to the face. "Second mistake, don't let your guard down.

Lemin scrambled to his feet to see Majors hand over his face. His eyes widened in fear. "You're definitely not captain level. Third mistake, don't do uncool when you fight." Major smashed his head down into the concrete with NaRoBu's white flames.

Lemin was out cold.

Major walked back over to Asia who was a little startled at the events that had just unfolded. His face was glowing with a welcoming smile. She ran towards him and hugged him tightly. "I said I'd give you a hug after you had a bath." They both went back to the hotel and rested for the night...
