Chapter 28

I slammed the whiskey glass down onto the bar top. I stared at the empty glass for a second, before catching the bartender's eye and waving him over for another refill. I barely cared if I was being rude now. It didn't matter. Things were going to go to shit anyway. Might as well enjoy the burn of a good liquor while I could.

"Long day?" The bartender, a tall, fair-skinned man with bright hazel eyes that leaned more green than gold and short curly black hair, said as he poured the rich honey liquid into my glass.

"Long life," I grumbled as I slammed the amber liquid back, downing the glass again before he had gone far.

"You're quite the drinker," He chuckled, "Where'd you learn?"

"My old man was drunk half the time he was around. Guess I picked up his talent." I stared down at the liquid as he poured more into my glass again.

"Bet you got your looks from you ma then." He smiled softly at me, "She must have been one hell of a gal."

I got it now. I may have been buzzed, but even when I was close to black-out drunk, I knew when a man was flirting with me. I smiled as I looked down at the cup again, swirling the whiskey. I could be bad for once. For one night, I could go back to the woman I was a few months ago. I could pretend nothing had happened and this was just another night in the bar after a hunt. For one night, I could forget what he meant to me.

"She'd love to hear that you think that," I said, taking a sip this time and winking at the man.

He laughed again, "I'll buy your next round if you stick around."

"How long do I have to stick around?" I asked, leaning slightly across the bar.

"Til close." His smile reached his eyes, where it danced among the gold.

I opened my mouth to utter deal when I heard my phone ringing in my pocket. I apologized, dug it from the pocket, and looked at the screen. I had been half expecting Ketch to call me by now, asking where I was or telling me that our little adventure was over. I was shocked to see that it was Elly calling me. I quickly answered the call before it could go to voicemail.

"Elly?" I asked.

"Where did you go?" She asked, "I've been looking for you."

"I'm just out getting a drink." I sighed, "Tell him to lay off if he's bugging you."

"He's not. Haven't seen Ketch actually," I could hear her grumble a little as the phone shifted, "You drove away faster than I could keep up with."

"Keep up wi…What are you talking about?" I questioned her, smiling at the bartender again as I took another drink.

"I kinda, maybe, might've stolen the Impala and followed you to make sure you were ok." I nearly spit out my drink. "But you drove off faster than I could. And I accidentally stalled out. I'm not good at stick shifts."

"How'd you get the keys?" I was baffled. Not even the best of thieves could get those keys away from Dean.

"I uh…kinda might've snuck into his room and took them while he was with Cas…"

"With Cas? You mean with Cas?" I smiled at her cunning.

Her beautiful snort laugh came from the other end, "Saw a lot more than I wanted to see."

I nearly choked this time, giving the bartender an apologetic look when he gave me a questioning one from across the bar. "I mean…good for you? But what do you mean? You followed me out here?"

"I don't know where here is. But sure." Elly replied, "You were upset. I was worried about you."

"I just wanted a drink," I stated.

"Alex, please." She scoffed, "I'm basically your best friend. You were supposed to be getting driven into bed, not running out of the bunker a mess."

"Ya. Let's not talk about that." I said, taking a careful sip of my drink and finishing it. "Where are you? I'll come to you." I stood from the bar, hastily writing my number on a napkin and sliding it to the bartender with the money due. I winked at him again before walking towards the door.

"Nah. You're drunk. And I think I found your car anyway." I could hear the roar of Baby's engine outside the bar as she pulled up.

I was flooded with its headlights just as I left the bar. Elly carefully pulled up along the curb. I waited until she was stopped before leaning down and resting against the open window.

"Hey, sexy. Need a lift to the nearest bar or club?" She smiled at me.

I chuckled at her attempted flirting. "Sure. There's a good club about a mile that way." I pointed down the road the way she had come in as I hopped into the passenger seat. "God, I haven't been in the front seat of Baby in a while."

"You're gonna have to show me the ropes. I've never done anything like this before." Elly said shyly.

"You got this far, Elly. It's not as hard as you think. Just push the far left pedal whenever she starts to growl." I pointed to it as much I could over her legs, "And at the same time switch to a higher or lower gear. Higher to go faster, lower to slow down." I leaned back into the cool leather seat, "Treat her like you would a lady during sex. Smooth and gentle."

"Well…" She trailed off, pulling slowly from the curb. "I've barely had sex with a woman. Though kissing them is pleasant." She sighed and smiled at me, "But I have the car thing. I meant drinking and partying. I've never done anything like that before. I've never been allowed to have that kind of fun. I have a tattoo that needs to be shown off. I've killed monsters, I can hit on a guy, but you gotta show me how."

I laughed, "Then I'm gonna have to teach you how to drink properly first. No more of whatever face you made with that whiskey. You have to at least act like you like it."

She scrunched up her face, "It burned my mouth."

"It always does the first couple of rounds. But you get used to it after a while and before long, you don't feel it anymore." I closed my eyes, listening to the soft hum of the engine, "So you just act like you can take it until you can't feel it anymore."

"It does sound more fun than drugs." We'd reached the bar at this point, and Elly carefully pulled Baby into a parking spot.

Pounding, base-heavy music could already be heard from the outside as we got out of the car. Purple, blue, and red lights filtered out of the windows in between the shadows of the inhabitants. The outside of the club still looked like the old bar it had been a few years ago, old wooden slabs decorated the outside walls. Old beer lights and signs hung on rusted hooks, aged with weather and sun. The old wooden porch creaked as we walked to the door.

I smiled as we slipped inside. It was a lot different on the inside. The old bar had been remodeled into a rather nice nightclub. Although it was small, there was still plenty of room to move around on the nice wooden dance floor. A DJ booth had been fitted to the far wall, a marble bar top surrounded by nice bar stools sat against the right wall, and a few glass tables lined the left. I could feel the loud music move through my blood, turning it numb as it thumped away.

"You sure this will make you feel better?" Elly yelled over the music.

"A hundred percent!" I yelled back.

I pulled Elly with me through the small crowd and over to the bar. I waved the bartender, a young blonde woman, down and ordered two shots. She nodded and went to work.

"I believe in you, Elly," I said, smiling at her as the shot glasses were placed in front of us.

I watched her sigh as I pushed one towards her. She took the small glass, giving the clear liquid a look before looking at me again. I smiled, throwing the shot back and smacking the glass back onto the bar top. I watched Elly try to follow suit, laughing a little when her face scrunched up again as she swallowed the burning liquid.

"You'll have to loosen up, hun. Or I'll just buy you more." I teased her.

Elly nodded, sticking her tongue out as she placed the empty glass aside. I turned my back to the bar, leaning against it and looking out into the crowd that moshed together. I knew I was looking for someone to forget with, but my eyes wanted someone who looked like Ketch, and they were coming up empty. In the end, I scoffed and turned back to the bar, signaling to the bartender that we needed another round. She sauntered down and filled our glasses again. I quickly took mine and threw back the clear poison.

"You're insane." Elly muttered over the music.

"Drink up." I ordered with a smile, "You wanted fun. You said something about doing drugs. You can do shots. And then we'll find someone to dance with."

"Dance?" Elly asked, suddenly looking nervous again.

"Yes, dance. I'm going to show you how to make a man regret his words." I could feel the alcohol in my veins now. It fueled the anxiety in my brain and fed its sweet lies to me like they were the truth I needed all along. "Drink that, and then follow me."

I watched her as she studied the glass again. This time she didn't seem as grossed out by the liquid, and when she finally downed the liquid, she didn't flinch. I smiled, taking her arm after she'd set the glass down again and leading her into the mass of bodies.

"Elly. I have a probably bad idea and I need you to help me with it." I handed her my phone, the camera open. "Record me."

"I…ok?" She stuttered, taking a few steps back from me and holding the phone up.

I smiled at her and hunted the crowd around us for a good dance partner. It didn't take long before I saw another pair of eyes staring at me. I waved the tall, tan-skinned, muscular man over to me. His blue eyes glowed different shades of purple in the club lights. The alcohol had blown his pupils wide and danced on his breath in a sickening sweet way. I pulled him closer, laced my fingers into his short light brown hair, and whispered promises of sweet nothings into his ear. He took it as his cue and grabbed my hips. I snaked my arms around his neck as he pulled me closer. I smiled up at him as the music picked up a bit.

I spun in his arms, leaving my arms around his neck as I slid down his body. When I was low enough, I let my hands drag down his chest behind me. I slid up slowly, pressing my body against his on the way up. I put my hands on top of his as he found my hips again, and guided them to caress over my stomach and chest as I grinded against him. The poor man had no idea what he was getting into and was already pushing against his jeans.

I closed my eyes, letting my lips fall open as I leaned against him and he felt me up. This felt good. Felt like nothing about my life had changed in the last few months and I was the old me. I opened my eyes again, ignoring the phone Elly still had trained on me and turned in his arms. I ran a hand along his jaw and pulled his face inches from mine. I looked into his blue eyes and stuck my tongue out, daring to lick his lips teasingly. He was quick to pull my leg up at the knee and wrap it around his waist, then locked his lips with mine.

It wasn't a good kiss. It was drunk and sloppy. Hungry and lustful. Something filled with revenge instead of love. Neither of us was doing this because it was what we had planned for the night. It was purely the heat of the moment.

I pulled away from him after a second, winking before pushing away from him and returning to Elly. I held my hand out for my phone. She gently placed it on my palm. I studied the video there, replaying it and shortening the end of it. I took out where I'd walked away from the man but left in the sloppy kiss. It would be enough to piss him off, and right now, I was more ok with that than I should have been. I smiled drunkenly as I sent the video.

"Come on, Elly." I yelled over the music, "Let's go do something else fun."

"What's something else?" She asked, her cheeks flushed and warm from the alcohol coursing through her system.

"We're gonna go make your demon dance before mine tries to kill me," I said, smiling more as I began to feel just how much alcohol I had had already. It made my body warm, yet numb.

"Can we drink a bit more before going home?" Elly asked.

"Of course we can. There's beer and some other shit in the trunk." I laughed, "Dean keeps it stocked."

"Awesome." She smiled.

I walked with her, or more staggered with her, out of the club. We found the way back over to the impala and I popped the trunk. It groaned with old age as it swung upward. I pushed hunting equipment aside and revealed the six-pack of bear that was hidden beneath. Elly giggled, snatching a bottle. I took one for myself, twisted off the cap, and chugged the room-temperature beer. Elly was quick to follow in my lead.

We stumbled into the bunker sometime later, the moon high in the sky, full and bright. We were laughing hard and loud at something I don't remember anymore. The bunker was dark as we stumbled into the server room, with no one else in sight. I turned to Elly, and shushed her, trying to get us both to stop laughing.

"Don't you shush me!" Elly slurred loudly, her index finger suddenly pressing against my lips.

"I…will shush you all I want.." I mumbled around her fingers, failing at trying to keep my voice low, "Let's go find your fallen angel."

"Lucy! I'm home!" Elly yelled into the dark space.

"Shush!" I said, laughing again as I led her down the hall that led to where Lucifer was contained.

We eventually found the room on shaky legs. Both of us struggled to open the door under the other's drunken weight, but eventually, it was tugged open and we were able to stumble inside.

"Do…do demons sleep?" I felt stupid for asking her the question. But I couldn't remember the answer at the moment.

"I'm not sure." Elly stumbled from my grasp, clutching the open door frame for balance. She laughed hard as she hit the frame. "Shhh…" She said, laughing at herself.

I laughed more with her. I pushed the door the rest of the way open and walked in, pulling her with me before closing it again. My hand felt sloppily along the wall for the light switch, taking several tries to flick it on once I had found it. I blinked in the bright light of the room, the LED bulb almost too much for my eyes. It took a moment to get used to the light, but once we did, we found Satan himself, shaking his head at us.

Lucifer's eyebrows were furrowed in confusion. "Have you been drinking?" He asked, taking a step towards the edge of his angel's trap.

"No." I purred.

"You have a beer in your hand." The demon prince pointed out, "And you smell like whiskey."

"It was super expensive." Elly nodded, "Ketch paid like twenty-two euros for it or something."

I snorted. "We might have drunk a lot of it already," I murmured, taking a step toward the prince of darkness. "But that doesn't make us drunk, Apollyon." The old name slurred off my tongue as if I had never forgotten it.

"Lucy." Elly mewed like she didn't notice the way her devil looked at me. "I want to dance." She moved effortlessly into the angel's trap like she'd done it a thousand times before. He took her beer bottle from her hands and placed it away from her, just outside the trap. "Awe, Lucy. I wanted tha…" He kissed her quickly cutting off her words and taking her breath.

"You took her drinking?" He said after breaking away, his eyes dark as he looked at me.

"I went out drinking. She followed me and may have ordered a few drinks along the way." I shrugged, "Shit happens."

"I…I didn't get to dance at the club Lucy." Elly whined, leaning into the morning star. "She got to have all the fun. Dance with me."

"I don't dance." He said sternly. "Alex, you should have known better than to go and get drunk at a time like this."

"Why?" I pouted slightly. "She's old enough to drink and we both needed some fun away from the night. Didn' hurt anyone."

"You took her out of the bunker," He sighed, "She could have gotten hurt, or kidnapped again."

"I've done way worse." Elly laughed, "'cept I didn't like how drugs felt."

Lucifer raised a hand to his head, rubbing his temples, "You need to go to bed, Elly. You're going to be sick in the morning."

"Noooooo!" Elly whined more, going limp in his arms, "I want to dance."

Lucifer shot daggers at me, I smiled at the look in his eyes, the same look he'd had all those years ago when I'd denied him his rightful vessel.

He sighed, "If I dance will you go to bed?"

"I'll make sure she does," I said going back to the door and leaning against the wall next to it.

I watched from there as Lucifer threw her arms over his shoulders and wrapped his around her waist, taking her weight and slow dancing with her.

"Nuh-uh." I said, shaking my head, "She wants…"

"Stripper dancing!" Elly finished for me, throwing her head back.

"I am not…"

"Stripper dance! Stripper dance!" Elly began to chant. I laughed at her enthusiasm.

"Fine!" Lucifer growled. "But you will never tell anyone about this." Lucifer shot daggers at me again.

Elly retreated to the edge of the circle as he let go of her, her eyes full of eager child-like excitement. I stepped forward again and took her hand, waiting for whatever the devil had planned for us.

"Music, please," he said.

I dug my phone from my pocket and hit shuffle on the playlist we'd been listening to on the way home. Desire by Meg Myers began to fill the room with sound. It felt like the perfect song for this moment as if Chuck had picked it himself just to watch his fallen son dance to the whims of a human woman. Lucifer rolled his eyes.

His fingers were quick with his belt, finding the end and stripping it from his jeans faster than we could watch. He flung it towards Elly and used it to catch her neck and pull her back into the trap. He caught her by the waist and threw the belt off to the side. He stood her in the center of the circle and started to walk around her, taking her in.

I smiled, using my hand to cover my mouth to keep from laughing as her cheeks grew pink.

Lucifer's hand took one of her shoulders and trailed the other over his chest as he swayed his hips. Elly's hands flew up to her mouth as the blush slid further down her face. He dropped to his knees next, his hand now trailing down her body as he rolled his hips. Now with both hands, he slipped them up her thighs, using them to pull himself back to his feet once at her hips. A hand moved up his chest as he walked around her again.

Lucifer's hands took the hem of his shirt and pulled it up slightly, teasing Elly. The blush had slid down her face, turning just the top of her chest pick as well. When he was in front of her again, He took her hands from her face gently and guided them through his hair as he leaned towards her, taking her bottom lip between his teeth. I could see the shiver that rolled down her body as he pushed her back.

I felt a heat come to my cheeks now as I watched his fingers slip under his waistband. He turned his back to her, grinding his hips against hers, as he led her hands down his chest and over his hips. He got low enough to touch the floor, before rolling back up. He turned back to face her, slowly popping open the button on his jeans. I couldn't help but bite my lip.

I didn't need to be in this room any longer. I took a long drink from the beer bottle I still held, and slipped from the room. I left my phone for the music's sake and turned to stumble down the hallway.

"How do you want me?" I sang softly as the music drifted down the hall.

I could still feel my cheeks burning. It had been a while since the devil had affected me in such a way. I walked through the hallway, scrubbing the thoughts from my mind, and planning on sleeping in the back of Baby, when a door opened in front of me. I jumped, nearly losing my balance. I looked up into disapproving silver eyes.

"'Ello." I smiled.

"Where have you been." It was an order, not a question.

"Relax. I was just out with Elly." I answered, "It was a lot of fun."

"It sure looked like it." His jaw was set, tone firm and arms folded over his chest. "Am I a joke to you?"

"Do we have to do this now?" I groaned, ready to push past him and down the hall again, "I don't think I'll remember this tomorrow."

One of his hands took my shoulder, gripping it hard. He ripped the bottle from my hand, before pulling me into our bedroom, tossing it into a small trash can, and slamming the door closed.

"Who was the other man." Another demand.

"I don't know." I didn't care about trying to lie. I pointed to the trash can, "I wanted that."

"Absolutely not. You're completely smashed." He scoffed.

"But…"

"Why did you dance with him?" Ketch stood tall as I stumbled to the bed and sat on the edge of it. I looked around the room, losing interest in the conversation. "Alex!" He snapped his fingers, the sharp noise pulling my attention back to him. "What on Earth were you thinking? You can't just go around kissing other people."

"Why not?" I asked, getting to my feet again, "Did it hurt your feelings?"

"Because you're with me." His eyes searched mine, the silver tarnished. He stepped closer to me, close enough that I could've licked his nose had I wanted to. "You're mine."

"Yours?" I scoffed.

"Unless this is you trying to say that we're done, then yes. You. Are. Mine." Each word was punctuated with a sharp beat of anger.

I wanted to keep pushing him. I wanted this fight. I wanted to yell about everything we had been through and put each other through, just to end up here on the edge again over a damn curse. I needed this.

"Do you understand." Yet another command.

"No. I don't. What are you going to do about it?" I could feel the serpent-like smile spread across my face as I challenged those mercury storms.

There was no verbal answer. He simply picked me up like I weighed nothing, and put me on top of his dresser. I couldn't protest before his lips were against mine. Each of his hands took hold of my thighs and squeezed them tightly, surely leaving bruises from his fingers. There was still anger in the way he'd done this, but it was in the back now, fueling everything else. I wasn't sure if it had been from the alcohol or the way he always made me feel drunk, but I was suddenly going crazy for his touch.

I reached forward for the hem of his shirt, but his hands were quicker than mine and pinned my arms above my head. His lips continued to kiss mine hungrily, hardly giving me the chance to breathe. His free hand went to work undoing my jeans. When it became too much for one hand, he dropped the other and broke the kiss, leaving both of us breathless.

"You aren't allowed to touch," Ketch instructed, taking the bottom of my shirt and ripping it up over my head. "Do I make myself clear?"

"Yes," I breathed, letting him take the boots off my feet just as roughly.

He ripped my jeans from my legs next. I watched him carefully, trying to figure out if I could follow his plan for me or not. As he stood up again, and I could look into his eyes, I found I couldn't read them.

He leaned over, "Yes what?" His voice growled in my ear. I shivered as he ran his teeth along the lobe.

"Yes, Arthur." I wanted desperately to reach out and touch him, use him to ground myself. But I followed his instructions and gripped the edge of the dresser instead. I could feel my whole body turn to flame as he continued to nip my ear, his fingers tracing designs into my hips.

His teeth were at my neck next. He wasn't gentle as he bit and nipped over the areas that were still bruised. He bit hard against the new scar I'd gotten from the werewolf. I whimpered in response, my nails digging into the dresser.

"No more flirting with other men. Understood?" He hissed, his teeth grazing across my collarbone. His fingers slipped behind me, tracing up my back to take off my bra. Another small moan left my lips as he pulled it from my arms.

"Yes, Arthur," I answered.

"Promise me." His fingers traced gentle patterns over my breasts, teasing me gently, just enough to deprive me of what I wanted.

"I promise." I got out, exhaling sharply as he took my nipple into his mouth, finally touching me in a way I wanted. "I…I promise!"

He took a sharp step back, leaving my heart fluttering hard in my chest. "Bed." He ordered as he worked to pull his tie from around his neck. "Do not make me say it twice."

I slid from the dresser and landed on wobbly knees. I could feel his eyes on me as I walked carefully over to the bed. I sat on the edge before falling back onto the cool covers. But I wasn't where he wanted me, because he took hold of my ankles and dragged me down to the foot of the bed.

I watched as his fingers slowly unbuttoned his dress shirt. He pulled it off, taking care to fold it and put it nicely next to the bed. He moved onto his belt next, taking his sweet time undoing it. I groaned impatiently, his mercury eyes snapping up to my face, a warning heavy in them.

"Behave, Love," Ketch said simply.

His fingers slowed in their agonizing pace, pulling his belt through the loops almost one by one. He rolled it up nicely and placed it alongside where he'd put his dress shirt and tie. It felt even slower as he undid the button on his nice pants and stepped out of them, again folding them nicely and setting them on the pile. His soft grey boxers followed the same rhythm.

When he was finally undressed, he walked to the edge of the bed where I waited for him. His eyes wandered over me lustfully, a single hand reaching out towards me. His index finger trailed between my breasts and over my torso, dipping just beneath to elastic of my underwear and giving a small pull. I bit my lip, my toes curling in anticipation of what was to come next. How long did he expect me to play this game? I was going to lose it before it had even begun. I could feel the fire beginning to devour me alive. I felt like I needed him like I had never needed anything before.

"You're being so good, Love." He growled softly, kneeling before me.

His teeth took the place of his finger as he pulled on the waistband. I couldn't help but moan and arch my back at the movement. Fuck, I wanted to touch him. I wanted to touch him like he was the sun and I had wax wings. He was moving far too slowly, and I was so very hungry.

My hands became fists in the silk as he nipped back up to my legs, taking extra care when he reached my thighs. He pushed them open gently, biting the inside of them tenderly. I bit my bottom lip to keep the loud moan inside.

I couldn't fight it anymore. One of my hands reached for him. My fingertips just barely brushed against his hair, and he pulled away from me. I whimpered at the loss of contact. This didn't seem fair.

"Arthur!" I whined, "Please."

"I said, you weren't allowed to touch. Didn't I, Love?" His eyes took my breath away as they traced me, full of hunger. He couldn't punish me like this for much longer. He wanted this just as badly as I did. "I'll give you one last chance, but don't you disobey me again. Or I'll tie you up."

I nodded, licking my lips. He stole my breath from me as he pushed my knees apart again. This time his lips caressed my thighs, his hands taking a tight hold on my hips as I tried to move them.

"Fuck you," I groaned, draping an arm over my eyes so I didn't have to watch him work. It was becoming too much of a turn-on to see those silver moons watching my face for reactions.

I shivered, a moan passing my lips and my hand clutching the silk tighter as a finger pushed into me. His other hand still held tight to my hips as he began to move in and out of me, the rhythm even slower than when he'd removed his clothing.

"Don't disappoint me, Love. You know I love to hear you." There was a primal sound to his voice.

I let another moan pass my lips, "Arthur…"

A shiver ran up my spine as he gently kissed the tattoo that laced itself over my hip. He bit at the tattoo as he added another finger. My back arched off the bed and I brought my wrist to my mouth, biting down on it gently. There was a heat beginning to pull at my feet, red hot.

"Please," I begged, my hand returning to the bed to lace itself into the sheet like the other had.

"Please what?" He asked, his voice husky and warm on my hip.

"Arthur!" I begged.

"What do you want, Alex?"

"You!" I moaned, my mind clouded with pleasure and alcohol. God, I wanted to remember this in the morning. "Fuck, Arthur, please stop teasing me."

Finally, he listened to me. He released his hold on my hips and pulled his fingers from me, leaving me empty. He came to the edge of the bed, pulling my hips closer to him. He leaned over me, taking my face in his hand, staring at me with those bright, silver eyes. His lips brushed over mine as he finally gave me what I had been begging for. I exhaled sharply against his hips, unable to hold back any longer. My hands quickly tangled into his hair, but he didn't pull away this time. He rewarded me with a needy thrust of his hips. His hands traced over my sides and hips, cooling the alcohol-heated skin, and pulling me closer to him, putting every inch inside of me. I scratched his shoulders as I moaned, arching my back as the pace picked up. Bliss began to build up, pushing me further and further into drunken peace. I don't remember how long it was before we were both riding out the last waves of passion, but I remember the last words spoken between us.

"Please say you will," Ketch whispered, silver eyes calm as he looked down at me.

"I will," I promise.

I woke up the next morning, still hugged gently against his chest. I smiled. No one left. There were no more secrets or lies. There was just this moment, just us tangled in the sheets. I closed my eyes again, relishing in the moment before the headache that began to set in reminded me of just how much I had drank the night before. I sighed and opened my eyes, sliding gently from the bed.

"Where are you running off to?" His voice was scratchy and deep.

I wanted to just stay here all morning. All of my life. But I knew I couldn't yet. "I need to shower and check on Elly," I said softly. "You go back to sleep."

He mumbled something before rolling over again. I laughed to myself as I slipped into the bathroom and took a quick shower. I dressed slowly when I was done, using the time to think over whether or not I should put the ring on my finger. In the end, I did. It fit perfectly. I admired the beautiful red gem and the silver band.

With that decision made, I walked quietly out of the room and made my way down the hall. It was a quiet morning, everyone was still asleep or already out for the day. I wandered the halls until I got to Elly's room, I pushed the door open slowly and entered the empty room. I furrowed my brows, closing the door and walking to the study instead. I pushed the door open without a second thought, and almost immediately regretted it.

Elly and Lucifer were on the floor of the angel's trap. Both very naked. I turned my back to them.

"Elly!" I said a little too loudly.

I glanced over my shoulder when I heard her jump, surprised at my outburst. "What?" She groaned, "Can you talk softer?"

"Sorry." I cleared my throat, "Could you…" I couldn't find the words as I gestured to the clothes that littered the room.

Lucifer chuckled softly. "You embarrassed? Elisabeth said Ketch likes to prance around. You shouldn't have a problem with me doing it."

"He does not prance around/ And seeing him naked if not the same as seeing you naked," I said, crossing my arms over my chest.

"I thought you liked me naked," He continued to tease.

"I'm coming, I'm coming. Lucy, get dressed." Elly ordered.

"Thanks, Elly." I sighed.

Her hand took my shoulder moments later, and I turned to look at her. "Am I hungover? I feel like I died."

I laughed softly, "Ya, you probably are. We can fix that with some food and water though."

"Brugers?"

"Sure."
