Behind the shadow of the first door to the circular chamber, a figure remained perfectly still, cloaked by an invisible spell. She can't be seen and sensed with her spell.

She was a girl in her late teens with petite build, light on her feet, and trained with a precision that made her perfect for missions like this.

Her movements were silent. She wa a talented assassin and reconnaissance was her specialty. She was the person Larsen Roquint sent when he didn't want anyone to know they were being watched. And right now, that person had her eyes on Rama, Axel, and Shoji as the trio pushed open the door to the next chamber.

"They're pretty strong," the girl thought, her gaze narrowing under the veil of magic. "But how did he know? That man with the spakling sword… how did he know about the conduit as the source?"
