From her hidden vantage point behind the curve of the stone pillar, the invisible girl stared at the man with intense eyes. She couldn't take her eyes off him now after what he done.

The glow that had shimmered briefly around him moments ago had already faded but it was enough. She didn't need to see what he saw to understand something important. He definitely knew what to do now.

More than that he always seemed to know what to do in every situation. The kind of certainty that couldn't come from instinct alone.

Her thoughts spiraled. "It has to be some kind of power…

Maybe divination? That would explain his insight and his timing. But if that was true, how could he divine something so specific without proper information? Unless… Unless someone told him the information he needed!"
