Rama, Shoji, and Axel turned sharply toward the section of wall that had just groaned open. The stone was scraping against stone as if pulled by unseen gears.
With weapons ready they approached with caution then stepping through the archway one by one.
Beyond it lay another chamber. The moment they stepped inside unease gripped them.
"This is…" Axel muttered, eyes scanning the room. It was the same room like before. Exactly the same.
Same cracked walls, same formation of stone pillars. It mirrored the previous chamber above them down to every detail.
"This is weird. Are we walking in a loop?" Axel asked, brows furrowed.
"I don't think so," Rama replied, his voice calm but tight with suspicion. "We should be able to feel it if that's what happened… right?"
"I don't know honestly," Shoji said with a shrug. "This place's got its own rules."
"Let's just get inside and deal with this," Rama said, stepping forward with steady confidence.
