In the year 2032, strange messages started to appear on smartphones and other devices across the planet. Warning of an Apocalypse soon to come, with a strange “gacha” coming alongside these messages, rewarding a character to those who opened the app.

A few hours after the message, the apocalypse started. Monsters appeared out of the ground and started to hunt and kill humans, as those able to fight started their struggle for survival.

This is the story of one group of survivors, one who decided to fight against the odds and uncover the true origin of the app that granted people’s powers, and the driving force behind this apocalypse of Gods and Monsters.

Kyrie channeled his hearing the best he could in the middle of the blizzard, trying to discern the sounds and vibrations of the ground for hours. A conservative estimate was that he wasted his time and achieved nothing.

An accurate estimate: he stood still like a clown when he could've covered at least a few miles in the meantime. Even if the blizzard "appeared" to be silent because of the lack of howling winds, it truly wasn't.

Checking if a hidden world made by magical creatures and Yggdrasil's roots below his feet was impossible. Even if the storm wasn't there, who knows if the movements of creatures can be heard so far below the ground?

Back then, he wasn't able to sense the ruins he was walking into. 'I've grown since that time I became far stronger in a short amount of time. I think my current self can feel a ruin ahead of me, but…'
