Journey through the snow 3

The abandoned battlefield extended far beyond what he had imagined. It was expansive and large. Kyrie had never been in a site of battle before; the prison was self-contained, with only the remnants of bloodshed within its darkness.

For all his ability to kill and end lives, this was the first time he found himself on a battlefield. 'The only time I can remember, that is.' While the military base could have been similar to this one, he simply couldn't recall what happened there.

A painful irony that one of the crowning days of his life was beyond his understanding and memories. Every time something big happened, his memories were gone. It was a miracle he kept all of his memories intact when facing Zillia.

Yet Kyrie knew that keeping memories of a place like that would weigh on his soul and mind. As far as he saw, there was carnage and death in copious amounts, so much it was saddening to see.
